Publisher's summary

In an isolated town, far within the icy mountains, an unspeakable horror roams the woods.

A dark past drives wedges between the people who must unite if there is to be any hope to save the town and its isolated inhabitants.

WHAT A THRILLING RIDE

From the first chapter Josh Olsen had me enthralled with this treasure of a book. An absolute thrill with plenty of suspense.

great story

this was a great story. I feel like there could be improvements as well, though. some aspects fleshed out more, others perhaps distracting and could be cut. but ultimately the main meat of the story is great at pulling you in and demanding your attention. I feel the narrator's dark tambour suited him for the intense action parts and the rugged personality of the town, but didn't find myself loving the few more emotional scenes that came up. other than that it was great.
thx for the good listening and getting me through my night shifts.

The Beast

The Mountain Town is definitely one dark and creepy well written book. The storyline is creative and well developed. The story takes place in a town where everyone has secrets from the past that they must confront in order to deal with the present day danger of an voracious beast that watches constantly. The story was so descriptive and intriguing that I was hooked from the first page. The story takes you on a horrifying journey that is impossible to get off of. I highly recommend this book. I am voluntarily leaving my honest unbiased review. This book is a do not miss for horror fans.
