Publisher's Summary

Just outside the small but colorful mountain resort town of Foxboro, Tennessee, lies Dr. Weirdman's Mountain Museum of Monsters, Curiosities, and Ancient Mysteries. Once a major tourist attraction, it offers travelers the amusement of touring unusual underground caves and pseudo-scientific exhibits ranging from strange creatures to the supposed artifacts of lost civilizations.

Now the museum is a crumbling relic of an older age, fallen into disrepair. Its longtime owner has died, leaving it in the hands of a younger distant relative who knows nothing of how to run a failing tourist trap of a museum, but who is desperate to make a living and provide for his own children.

The museum has a serious ghost problem, though, and Ellie Jordan is called in from Savannah to help. An unexpected old friend joins Ellie at the last moment so that they can spend a snow-filled Christmas together in the mountains...if the ghosts of the restless dead don't turn the holidays into a horrific tragedy.

Another Good Addition

I like this series a lot. The stories are genuinely spooky and Ellie is a brave but very damaged woman with lots of issues. I wish the next book would get to Audible already. I bought it on Kindle but prefer the audio. Wonderful narrator.

5 Stars

This series gets better and better. Each plot is well plotted and fresh even though it continues the same theme. The dialogue is witty the humor balances the horror of the story. Ellie and her friends continue to grow and develop while solving problems for others. In this book, it annoyed me that it took so long to figure out Anton Clay's involvement. However, I will forgive J L Bryant for dragging it out because he sets up the next book. I can't wait until it's available.

Another wonderful paranormal book!

The Monster Museum
By: J. L. Bryan
Narrated by: Carla Mercer-Meyer
Series: Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper, Book 10
This book takes Ellie to a creepy old museum with a hot and sexy guy with kids. Unfortunately she traveled with her ex-boyfriend and his sister. This story has lots of twists and surprises. Ending not what I liked. Oh well!
Narration was great as usual for these books, thanks!!!

Awesome!

This series just gets better and better! Some series fizzle out and none of them are as good as the first book but not this one!

Disappointing and predictable

The main premise of this book was unfortunately obvious and I saw it in the 2nd chapter and jumped the next 30 chapters to get to the real plot and story. I would listen to the next book but as it is not on Audible I cannot. I doubt I will be waiting with bated breath for it to turn up on Audible.
It is unfortunate that the basic plot lines are good but messed about with the sub plot (I wont give any spoilers) that just drags on and on.
