Publisher's Summary

Brooklyn Stevens sits in a pool of her own blood, tied up and gagged. No one outside of these dank basement walls knows she's here. No one can hear her scream.

A terrifying tale in the tradition of Carrie and The Exorcist.

Sofia Flores knows she shouldn't have gotten involved. When she befriended Riley, Grace, and Alexis on her first day at school, she admired them, with their perfect hair and their good-girl ways. They said they wanted to save Brooklyn. They wanted to help her. Sofia didn't realize they believed Brooklyn was possessed.

Now, Riley and the girls are performing an exorcism on Brooklyn - but their idea of an exorcism is closer to torture than salvation. All Sofia wants is to get out of this house. But there is no way out. Sofia can't go against the other girls…unless she wants to be next….

Was pretty good- until the ending.

The book was pretty interesting, some parts were even great, but the ending was the absolute definition of "meh".

Thoroughly entertained.

Great pacing for such a short book. The narration was incredible and I will listen to/ read this author again. Highly recommended to lovers of this genre.

Lackluster Read

It felt like a young adult book. I was disappointed. I kept wanting more and never got it.

Lacking in explanations

Nothing more was fully explained. Everything felt completely rushed, and expecting the reader to make wild jumps from she likes tattoos to beimg the devil.

Nope

I kept listening hoping that the story would get better, but no it didn't. After the last minute of this horrendous story I honestly started a long stream of profanities over how much I hated it.

One of the worst books I've ever read!!

This is absolutely the worst book I've ever read/listened too! The story is stupid and is basically just a bunch of mean girls torturing characters for 75% of the book. Do not waste credits or buy this book. You'll eventually do as I did and turn it off because you are sick of how the story lacks development. You can tell the writer was just trying to fill pages and didn't really care about making the story interesting.

average ya story

This story was entertaining...but not thought provoking or edgy literature. The quality of the story was akin to a made for tv movie. The narrators has a pleasant voice and did an adequate, if not memorable performance.
