Harker Brayton accepts an offer from an associate to stay at his house. We and Brayton learn that his friend's home is also home to numerous serpents. In fact, a wing of the house - the "Snakery" - is full of the cold blooded creatures, which have been known to wander. So while Mr. Brayton is relaxing in his room with a book describing the hypnotic effect of snakes eyes, he decides to ignore the two points of light he discovers under his bed. But his subconscious mind will not ignore them. When he decides to take action, things become very interesting, But you wouldn't want us to give the story away, now would you?
