Great storyline with a twist

First book that I've listened to from this author. Really enjoyed the character development. The suspense and linguistic specialty from the main character was really interesting and enjoyable. Linguistic studies was intriguing to learn about In relationships to FBI work.
Narration was enjoyable.
Loved the flow and pace of the book.
Enjoyed the twists that came together without effort at the end.
Looking forward to book two of this series.
Would definitely recommend this book and author.

One of the BEST books I have read this year!

This was an absolutely captivating story full of twists! I really enjoyed this book. Preordering the next book right away.

Enjoyed the fast paced,who done it. With a strong yet vulnerable character looking forward to the next book

Didn’t hold my interest

The main characters job description just didn’t interest me and the story couldn’t keep my attention

But wait! There’s more!

Interesting subject. I enjoyed most of the book. Characters a bit flat though, and the last twists and turns were too much. A simpler ending would have been more satisfying.

Twists and turns

Pretty good book but prob a better book read vs an audio book. Too many characters and time periods to easily follow.

Twists and turns galore!

This was an entertaining listen with interesting characters and gripping plot twists. The narrator was excellent. I recommend this book!

Good but not Great

Some of the book is predictable. Characters need more development. Premise is promising but the characters fail to deliver.

Engaging characters

The characters were well developed and rich, and while some elements were occasionally easy to predict it still had enough depth and twists to keep you engaged.

Twists I never saw

I listen to 8 + books a month. This one.. there was twists I didn’t see. Catching at the beginning middle and last few minutes. I really enjoyed the story, the writing, I would definitely recommend. I have already purchased a written copy. Would read again, which says a lot. In 8+ months this is the first book am more then willing to write a review and say you need to read. I’ll be reading more from this author
