Publisher's Summary

When you can no longer outrun your enemies, you have two choices. Turn and fight for your life, or give up. I’ve never been one for giving up.

Unfortunately, running away from your problems only works for so long. Since I got pulled into the secret underworld of demons, fae, and vampires, it’s been one crisis after another. I’ve been dodging and ducking, rather than hitting back. Reacting instead of acting.

Ransley Thorpe and I have been gradually backed into a corner, and we’re about to take the offensive. We may be punching way above our weight class, it's true. But if the alternative is death or captivity at the hands of our enemies, do we really have anything to lose?

The good news is, the soul bond I share with my vampire lover means we can never be parted from each other - not even in death. With that reassurance in mind, it’s time to make sure Hell and Dhuinne come to regret the day they ever decided to take us on.

So, yeah. A half-crazy vampire and an ex-waitress are about to go up against the toughest the paranormal world has to offer. I figure it’ll either be totally badass or the most epic smackdown in history.

The Last Vampire is a steamy urban fantasy romance series from USA Today best seller R.A. Steffan and Jaelynn Woolf, coauthors of the Circle of Blood saga.

Buy the sixth book in this series to enjoy the conclusion of Rans and Zorah's wild ride through a world populated by demons, fae, and vampires. Don't worry, though! There are more stories to tell in this world, starting with Vampire Bound: Book One.

Zorah And Rans I'm Going To Miss You

This is the final book in what for me has been a wonderful series I discovered quite by chance, I had never read anything before by these incredibly talented authors but I had listened to lots of work by Gwendolyn Druyor so when I saw she had narrated the first book in this series I downloaded a copy and became an avid fan.

I am going to miss both Zorah and Rans, especially Rans, and their adventures. It seems incredible to me that the whole series takes place in the space of a few months so much is crammed into it. Since their first meeting when Zorah visited her garden shed intending to cut her grass and found Ransley Thorpe's dead body inside it, to this thrilling conclusion what a rollercoaster ride we have all be taken on.

Since that day Zorah has found herself pulled into the unknown underworld of demons, fae, and vampires but it wasn't all bad, she found the love of her life in Rans. The love shared by them is deep and all-consuming. On the good side, they are now bound together by a life bond so will never have to live without the other. On the downside, if one of them dies so does the other. For a waitress with no prior knowledge of this world, Zorah has done surprisingly well. But the time has come for Rans and her to take the offensive, no more reacting now they will meet their enemies and fight on their own terms to try and secure a future for themselves. There is no other choice the alternative is death or captivity at the hands of their enemies.

There is so much happening in this book but no more spoilers from me you must listen to it yourself. I do suggest though that you make sure you have some tissues to hand if you are anything like me you are going to need them.

Once again the narration by Gwendolyn Druyor is excellent, pitch-perfect in every way. The fact that she has narrated all of this series means that the continuity and delivery never waivers. Well done Gwendolyn.

Thank you, R. A. Steffan and Jaelynn Woolf for this wonderful series.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Wonderful conclusion to this wild adventure!

What a wild ride of an adventure as this series’ finale continues the action and suspense that I’ve come to love, while the intricate layering of story and character alliances forge forward to a climactic battle scene that is just as emotional as it is dangerous. Although the battle may have finally been the means to an end, I found the aftermath to be quite intriguing as the authors fill in the blanks regarding Rans’ past and what the future now holds for Rans, Zorah, and their circle of friends. Although I had to warm up to Gwendolyn Druyor’s narration in the beginning of the series, her familiarity and consistency throughout continued to give life to this wonderful cast of characters and now I couldn’t imagine anyone else narrating this amazingly entertaining tale.

Loved it!!!!!!!

I had mixed feelings about this book. I hated to see it end but was glad to see the outcome of this adventure. I was finally glad to have all the pieces put together. I definitely recommend this series and the Circle of Blood. Both are fantastic.

The narrator, Gwendolyn Druyor does a fantastic job with bringing the characters to life.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Another intense book in this series

Book six continues to move this series along as we learn more about the characters we have grown to know and love. I enjoy this series and I like the way we learn a little more about the background of the characters with each book. That's important for me to want to continue with a series that doesn't involve bringing in a bunch of outside characters to stretch it out. As they continue with their relationship and friendships, I am also getting to know and understand them better. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

The Last Vampire: Book Six

An epic conclusion to a fantastic series. This book was definitely action packed! Such a satisfying ending. I will miss Zorah and Rans... great characters that really grew throughout the series.

The authors work well together to deliver a strong story.

The narration was also very well done. I could not imagine anyone other than Gwendolyn Druyor voicing these characters.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

I don't want to give ANY spoilers, so I am not going to say anything about this book except WOW. I have loved this series, and Zorah and Rans. They have fought such odds and had the deck stacked against them in so many ways. They have been betrayed, chased, totured, lied to, and - well - pretty much every bad thing you can think of. But they are still here, and still fighting. As always, there are some tight spots, hot times, a little humor, suspense, and drama. This is a spectacular conclusion that does a great job of answering any outstanding questions. While I am sorry this is the end of this particular story, I am glad to finally know how it all works out. Don't miss this series, especially now that it is complete. Get the 6 volumes in audiobook and binge listen. You won't be sorry or disappointed.

The narration is great! Ms. Druyor is simply fantastic at expressing the characters' emotions and bringing the story to life.

The Last Vampire 6

A beautiful and action filled conclusion to this couple that has you finally breathing easy. That being said, I hope the story still continues with the sneak peek I just read. I have loved this series for the beginning and am not ready for it to be over.

Loved every minute of it

Another riveting collaboration by R.A. Steffan and Jaelynn Woolf, the two authors, make an unbelievably great team. The series is fantastically composed, engaging, and utterly addicting. The characters are well-developed, intriguing, and appealing. The since the start of the series, you see them grown into their roles, particularly Zorah.

Gwendolyn Druyor's performance is outstanding. Her emulations of the characters' personalities and emotions are spot on, further immersing the listener. Overall, this is an incredibly entertaining series with fabulous characters and brilliant narration, and I highly recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

I couldn't stop.

Ok, so I said I'd review all six books with my last review. I got through them quickly, as the books were quite short, but that, to me, made them better. The last thing I want is a story that drags on and on.
Anyway, I started with book one and wondered what on earth I was listening to. It was quick to go from nothing to full drama, and got right into the thick of the story.
The characters had major chemistry from the beginning, which was excellent, and I loved how their attraction built more and more with each book.
The story flowed brilliantly, even though I was often frustrated when the details were kept back for what I thought was longer than necessary.

Now the narration.
So, I was uncomfortable when the more intimate parts of the story happened because the narrator sounded like she had a childish voice, especially when agitated. It went up an octave and squeaky, too. It did calm down, or I got used to it, but that was what stood out for me the most.
There were many different characters that she had to read, but the accent changes weren't believable.
Rands' voice was supposed to be English, but the narrator rolled the r's as though he were American at times. Also, the fae's accents were so different. When I thought I was listening to an Irish accent, it'd change way too much.
They were kind of all over the place, and that's why I had to rate 3 for narration.
But, all in all, I thought the story was fantastic, and when it ended, I was hoping for a book 7.

Great closure, grand finale!

Audiobook narrated by Gwendolyn Druyor, she knows her characters well, nicely edited. What a great finale to the series, finally I get what I needed from the characters, the world, and all the story behind it all. Zorah and Rans were fantastic. I so love Rans at this point. Nice way to close the series with a happy ending, the spin-off series are calling my name.

A great end to a great series

More adventure, some love, some tragedy & loose ends tied up, what more could you ask for from a series finale? Looking forward to the spin off!
