This was a fabulous book, in all ways. Exciting, heartbreaking and hopeful. Honestly one of my favorite of all time books and series.

Great Book Great Series

This whole series was excellent. Each book was better than the last. Sharon Sala is one of my favorite authors and is an excellent story teller. Her writing makes you feel like the characters are real.

Outstanding Story

It has been a long time since I have cared so much for the characters in a book. The whole series was beautifully written .These were truly people you would want to know .All the qualities that we wish were around today . I wanted so badly for a miracle for Charlie's Annie .Was very unsure about Wyrick, I kept expecting her to turn into a bad guy ,she turned out to be as great as Charlie. I even loved their names.Charlie Dodge a simple name for such open as a book kind of guy. Jade Wyrick unusual name for a very unusual lady .I really hated for this to end ,I wanted Charlie and Jade to continue to solve mysterious cases on and on.The narration was impressive he truly had his characters down .MS. Sala is one of my favorite authors and I hope she finds a reason to revisit Charlie and Jade.

I have quite a collection of Sharon Sala novels. I enjoy reading them over and over. Adam Gold, who narrated this series is terrific! The only thing wrong with this fourth one in the Jigsaw series is it is supposed to be the last one. I hope Sharon changes her mind and keeps on writing more about Jade and Charlie. Jade is such a miracle person that even though she had cancer it wouldn't surprise me if she couldn't figure out a way to have a child. She and Charlie would make terrific parents. Also the child or children would inherit wonderful traits
From both of their parents!!!?

Bittersweet

What an amazing ending to an amazing series! The more I read by Sharon Sala, the more I want to read her books. Definitely one of my favorite authors.

Unlikely story

I don’t usually listen to this kind of language. Minus that it was very well written. Love the narrators tone of voice.

Great ending to a very good series!

The Last Straw is book four in the Jigsaw Files. If you’re looking at this book and you haven’t listened to the first three in the series you will probably be lost. I would suggest listening to this series in order. Aside from the mysteries there is a developing relationship between the two protagonists.
This series features Charlie Dodge and Jade Wyrick. Both have faced hard times in their lives and although neither believes the other is interested they eventually learn of each other’s feelings.
I generally don’t listen to romance or chick lit but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this series.
Adam Gold does a fantastic job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Love Sala’s writing. The narrator is my favorite! Hope to find other books with him narrating.
