Good listen

Very good, all her books are very good, they keep you at the edge of your seat.

Good Solid Story

While the story in and of itself was solid, the revealed reasons for the murder were unexpected and asinine. I also had difficulty listening to some of the voices given to certain characters. While most were good, some were just laughable.

Good Read!

Not my favorite of Sharon Sala but intertaining enough. It was hard to get into but once I did, I enjoyed. Performance (voices) was good.

Love this book!

I don't often post reviews. Everyone has their own taste in books. I loved this book. It was set in WV where I am from and ot is one of the few books that accurately portray the people of WV. The grit, the heart, the sense of family, and what happens when you cross family. I laughed and I cried listening to this book. I highly recommend it.

Family

An absolute wonderful read. A sad tale of sorrow, family, love , and happiness. Sharon Sala is one of my favorite authors! I have every one of her books. Now I am enjoying listening to them.

I couldn't finish it!

What disappointed you about Family Sins?

I have read several Sharon Sala books and generally like them, but the dialog was awful in this book. There were several problems with the way people spoke, including speaking like old fashioned hicks and all of the adults calling their parents Mama and Daddy, I know this was based in Kentucky, but it didn't seem like realistic dialog, even for southerners.

awful! the story was too slow and too syrupy. the reader should have been female since most of the dialog was female.
