Awesome read
Picked up this book and WOW!! This is one of the most compelling reads that I have had the pleasure of getting into in recent memory. The story is compelling, the characters are interesting and detailed. The scenes are very descriptive and paints a vivid picture in the mind's eye. Being a fantasy fan since the early 80's which includes Dungeons and Dragons game play this fits right in with my interests. If you are a fan of swordplay, wizardry and monsters then is is for you! Bravo Mr. Hilliard! Keep them coming and I am very much looking forward to the next installment! Brilliant!!

captivating
I really enjoyed this book. I could envision all of the characters and see the journey that they did. all of the fights that took place and all of the crises. The end of the book wasn't bad but I didn't like it because it wasn't what I wanted to happen. but now I really need the next one.
I was not a big fan of this narrator. his voice was a little dull at times but overall he wasn't bad

The Last Keeper
This story held my interest. The narrator was excellent. He adding drama and suspense throughout the story. I enjoyed listening to the adventure. Very easy to listen to and read along with the narrative. Excellent.

Kept My Attention and Intrigue the Entire Time
I am not a reader, but recently just got interested in the fantasy adventure genre. Listen to the audiobook while driving, working, or working out. Loved the story. Kept me interested and wanting more. Looking forward to the next ones in the series.
