Good thing I decided to try it
As this story grabbed me from the start and never let go! This is the first book I’ve come across that deals with the WWII. It’s long but because you are so quickly involved it doesn’t seem long.

Too much explicit sex
I love Ken Follett’s books, and this one was no exception. It was exciting and so interesting and informative. The only complaint I ever have of Follett’s books is the explicit sexual content. I thought this one was worse in this regard than any of the others I’ve listened to. It’s unfortunate, as I think it’s unnecessary and really adds little—and even detracts—from the book. Be aware before you purchase if you are sensitive to this.
