Story was true Ken Follett. I remember reading this in school in early 80’s. So glad to experience the storyline again. Mr Jaffrey did a good enough job on the characters and intonations.

Good enough

Good story, captures your interest from the first chapter, and doesn't let go until the last pages. Add to that the fact that I could listen to Raza Jaffrey read the phone book and I would be riveted, and you have a winner.

Was not my favorite of his works. Had a decent story line but would drag in places.

Slow listen

Author Ken Follett needs no additional acclaim, so I recommend this book with no reservation.
My critique is directed towards the narrator. His ineptitude with the French language is shocking. I wonder why he did not enlist The services of a language coach

I've read every one of his books accept for the new junk that has come out recently. This is by far NOT my favorite, but its still well-worth the listen due to his talents. Decent espionage thriller. Worth the purchase if you like his other stuff.

Not his best, but hey, it's still Follet
