As always, a very well written story. Ms Parker gave a wonderful performance. I sure hope we get to see the private detective team being formed in September.

Very disappointing

I was really excited about this book being an avid Grisham fan. Sadly the NARRATION WAS TERRIBLE!!!! Sooooo slow and monotonous. The storyline was medicore Grisham with both female main characters really hard to like. Bummer.

Not my favorite

Although I normally love anything Grisham, this yarn was disappointing. Just didn’t contain the usual intrigue.

Sleepy 😪 time

The story line, while unusual was 🐌. Put me to sleep quickly. Narration was irritating!

Not one of Grisham’s best

There was very little intrigue, almost no danger, no suspense, and very little that was interesting. He had 2-3 chances to throw in some twists and turns, and he chose not to. Basically, it was just ok. If it didn’t have John Grisham’s name on it, I would have stopped listening half way through.
