Ugh , why is she reading it like this 🤢

Awful narration. I had to read along with the book just to tell when it was actual dialogue versus internal monologue. The transitions were unclear, making it hard to follow. The sections where the author was info-dumping were also delivered with an overly dramatic tone, which made them even harder to get through.

Fantastic story and great narration

This is a slow-burning enemies to lovers story filled with twists and turns. I really enjoyed the character growth and the slow change in their understanding of each other. The narration is interesting and it took a while to get used to but once you understand the characters you start to enjoy the unique narration as well. I also appreciate the dedication to pronounce the original words and names because I always wonder how to properly pronounce words that are not native to English.

Very disappointed

So much tedious world building and the narration is so over the top. I was really looking forward to this book. Very disappointed.
