Fantastic Story Made Better by the Narration!
This series just keeps getting better and better! Please bring books 4-6 to audible soon! Being left hanging like this is miserable, as I get much more enjoyment out of these books when listening. This narrator kept me hooked from start to finish.
Karen is my hero! She even shocked herself with how much strength (both physically and mentally) there was within her, and it only came to fruition when she realized her children had their lives on the line. After that, absolutely nothing else mattered to her but keeping them from harm at any cost. Her fierceness and willingness to go to absolutely any length to protect them is nothing less than heroic! Nothing stronger than that mama bear instinct!
The amazing, nonstop, intense, graphic detail combined with the witty dry humor interspersed throughout, is top-notch and much appreciated!

Dang, I sure hope there is gonna be another book! Just left me hanging! I loved all 3 books in this series each book left me craving for more. The action just kept coming. I am just sad that there isn't another book to go straight into after this. The narrarator was great! He brought each character to life and had me sucked in pretty quick. If you love Zombies, action and gore then this is the right book for you

Totally awesome sauce
As always this is one of the best written zombie books out there. Probably as close as you will get to work could actually happen in a zombie apocalypse. Each book gets better and better. Zombies the end of the world that’s all bad. But through in humans and you have more evil than you can even want to deal with. Follow our characters as this drive to escape the city and reach their loved ones in another city and then make their way to safety. Evil abounds zombies everywhere and be careful and look out because the lowlife crept humans are running around as well. You love that character well don’t get too attached because as in real life nobody is safe. Can’t wait to check out the next one on audio. This narrator with my favorite so far. Check them all out

Keeps getting better
Love this series. Writing this after listening to the first 5 books. Starting 6 today.
The characters are just your every day normal people. Think you and your neighbors! You get an almost minute by minute play out of the zombie outbreak. The action is nonstop. Jim is our hero & Karen is a bad ass and I love them both so much! We get a few new characters in each book. No one is safe!
Jim & Karen will do anything to keep their girls safe! The action in this one is nonstop as well. This is a great series! I’ve been binging it!
Tom Bishop did an amazing job narrating. I usually don’t like it when a narrator is changed in a series but Tom did a great job so I was completely ok with this.

Good story; Crappy narration
I loved books 1 & 2. The story is great. Action packed, funny, great characters. This book has all those same qualities. The issue for me is the narrator. Emphasis at strange points in some sentences. And the most annoying thing to me is his attempt at a Hispanic accent, which sounds like an Irish accent instead. A "gringo" accent would have been preferable to the Irish sounding latina. Took me out of the story.
So... the author is great. He wrote a good story. But I may have to stick with the written version from now on

Bad narration!
After listening to the first two books which I thoroughly enjoyed I was excited to see there were more.Sadly I have only got one and a half chapters in when I have had to stop because of the narrator's reading style. There are odd inflections on very random words which leave the sentences disjointed and choppy and he goes from very quiet to SUDDENLY VERY LOUD!! Not sure who told him he was good at this but they were very wrong.I'll read the rest of the book rather than listen to it.

Great story - odd narration
Love these stories, they're full of great action, drama and zombies! I like both Karen and Jim as lead protagonists, their individual story lines are equally enjoyable to listen to. The side characters are well written, and I'm feeling very suspicious of Leon at the moment - will listen to book 4 now.
Narration
Having listened to book one and two, I loved the narration on those two, this one is very bizarre. Dramatic pauses in strange places, at one point it was like the recording happened in a tunnel!! I'm not that impressed by the narrator at all.

Women making a difference in a man's zombie world!
Really enjoy the different perspectives in The Infected. Karen and Tina are pretty cool characters, kicking butt in a zombie filled world.
However what is really off putting is how annoying highly intense the narrator is throughout the e tire book, hes almost shouting.
It took me a long time to listen too because he was such a struggle
I'm glad I did though as it was a good book.
