I've read this book and I can honestly say the narration does it justice. Highly recommended

great narration

this is one heck of a fast ride. pure action from beginning to end. the characters are great and the narrator really made the story flow.

Couldn't put it down

One of the best zombie books I've had the pleasure of reading! I love the realness of the writing and the story and found myself constantly thinking "this is exactly how I would react in this situation". Joseph perfectly blends character development with story telling so it captures you from the start and there is an instant connection to this family and a strong desire to see them meet up and survive together. I can't wait to start book two and relive the beginning from Karen's perspective!

Absolutely edge of your seat

Love this series. Writing this after listening to the first 5 books. Starting 6 today.
The characters are just your every day people. You get an almost minute by minute play out of the first day of the zombie outbreak. The action is nonstop. I wonder how these guys keep going! I would have collapsed from sheer exhaustion. The will to survive and get home to your family would be a huge reason to keep going. Jim put over this!

Thrill Ride

This book was a thrill ride from start to finish! It kept me engaged and interested. It felt very relatable! I loved the different settings, the different settings kept it fast paced and exciting.
