On December 16, 2019, Jerrold Nadler, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives, and the full Committee on the Judiciary, released an updated version of the Impeachment Report. Listeners who have the previous release of The Impeachment Inquiry Report in their Audible libraries may prefer to listen to this final version. Now officially titled Impeachment of Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, Report of the Committee on the Judiciary House of Representatives, this document serves as the latest government-issued report from the Democrat-led House. It includes the Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment as well as The Articles of Impeachment.
This audio recording keeps intact the most current version of the Republican-issued report The Report of Evidence in the Democrats’ Impeachment Inquiry in the House of Representatives.
A new PDF has been included, and as always, Audible will make every effort to provide updates if subsequent versions are released.
Original Summary, December 6, 2019
The Impeachment Inquiry Report audio recording contains two government-issued documents: the official impeachment inquiry and the official counter-report.
On December 3, 2019, The Trump-Ukraine Impeachment Inquiry Report, prepared by Adam B. Schiff, Chairman of the United States House of Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, in coordination with the Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, was released. The Report reflects the evidence gathered thus far as a part of the House of Representatives’ formal impeachment inquiry of President Donald J. Trump in response to the Ukraine scandal and alleged abuse of power. This recording is the full report, narrated with minor editorial changes for clarity.
Following The Trump-Ukraine Impeachment Inquiry Report, this recording also includes complete narration (with minor editorial edits for clarity) of The Report of Evidence in the Democrats’ Impeachment Inquiry in the House of Representatives. This Republican rebuttal was issued as an official minority report from the offices of Devin Nunes, Ranking Member, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence; Jim Jordan, Ranking Member, Committee on Oversight and Reform; and Michael T. McCaul, Ranking Member, Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Editorial notes: Audible's version of The Impeachment Inquiry Report is free. If subsequent versions of this report are released, Audible will make every effort to provide updates. Audible has made this impeachment report available to their listeners so that more people may understand what's going on in our government today in an effort to achieve a more informed republic. I applaud their efforts here.
While it's long... and at times drone like in it's narration... both democrats and republicans have their say in this report. There's a proponent side and an opponent side to listen to. There's multiple narrators and I believe the whole thing was well done.
I would recommend to anyone who will be voting in the next election in 2020 and anyone who wants to understand this impeachment proceeding a bit better. This is not a news story. This is not a one sided narrative, as both sides have their say and interpretations here. It is an account of the actions and behavior of our president that became an inquiry in the House of Representatives that eventually was voted upon for impeachment.
Straight forward, direct and well narrated.

Fascinating but oftentimes very repetitive

not because we can influence the outcome of a potential trial but because we are voters.
As stewards of American historical values we have a civic duty to read this. The more knowledge we have about our Constitution and how it works the better . This book can't be reviewed in a normal way because of it's nature.
The fact that addable made this available to us free is just another way to underscore the need for us to reed it.
Thanks for another great public service from Audible.
Very important

3) the only thing they accomplished was too waste our time (President Trump was already taking steps to combat COVID-19) while they were screwing around with this useless exercise.
4) They wasted our tax money for nothing.
5) Lastly, I know exactly why Nancy Pelosi waited to send this to the Senate, because she knew it was b.s. After reading this, so do I.
