Men and ladies!!! If your preparing or going through a divorce, custody battle, family court, or mediation you should definitely read this book! So much valuable information, this has quickly become a go to source while preparing to initate mediation and/or court.

very good advice. but it was a lot of no brainer/ common sense info. great if yours just starting out in the hell that custody courts provide.

Love this & ALL THE INFORMATION, But.....

I Love this & ALL THE INFORMATION!! IT HAS BEEN LITERALLY PERFECT ( For Me & My Situation) it's very informative and Touches on All The Imperative & important issues. You can Relate to Almost everything it covers in 1 way or another, My only “Complaint” would be how the Author has written this from a wife’s point of view, as if a Man can only be the issue in a High Conflict Custody Battle. It’s Subtle things like using words like “He & Him”. Also, I realize that 1 of the Authors, possibly the Main author is female. But even so, as a SURVIVOR of Years of Mental, Emotional & Physical abuse by a “MENTALLY ILL & TROUBLED WOMAN” I wish this was written/Narrated in a UNIVERSAL manner. Not only that, I Truly Believe Most Men by Nature don’t want the DRAMA that this is Truly About, I’ve been to many court hearings and have done enough research to know that Most Women in These Break-Ups choose to play the part of a victim. Again, “THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION” I’m very much aware that Men can be Evil as well. Bottom line: I recommend this BOOK/Audiobook to ANYONE ALREADY IN &/OR ABOUT TO START A CUSTODY BATTLE! It’s a TERRIBLE THING to put children in the middle of & most couples eventually see that & stop all the nonsense down the road. WHY THEY CANT JUST START LIKE THEY END UP, We’ll I guess that’s just the Process & Possibly they wouldn’t end up like that had they not gone through the hell they did, so idk!?🤷🏻‍♂️
Until then, We have this Book and others like it & GOOD-LUCK!!

Great for alienated parents...

I found a lot of this to be interesting but so much of the book was written for alienated parents and went into so much detail for them (which I’m so grateful for!!). I was hoping this would be more about surviving and navigating a high conflict custody battle in general, as the title suggested, and not limited to just one piece of that. I do recognize the tremendous value this provides for parents who are trying to come back from an alienated position with their kids, but found it more as a warning for where I suspect my own high conflict battle is heading. In that, it was a helpful listen. I just could have skipped several chapters that were so specific to victims of severe alienation and not the slightly broader slice of us in the “high conflict custody battle”. Also, the narration was very tough to listen to. I was convinced it was an ai transcription until I heard an inflection (several minutes in). This was extremely clinical and sanitary feeling as I listened. Definitely takes some getting used to.

Great Information

There is a lot of useful information in this book. The lists that you should prepare, what to give your attorney and/or parent evaluator. I have compiled a 4 inch binder of documents. I must say going to court with that binder really intimidated the opposing party Council. The only thing that bothered me was the repeated lists, get a piece of paper, like a notepad or notebook. It only needs to be stated once as we are smart and intelligent adults who know what to write on.
