She was to meet an operative so pictures could be taken of the secret documents. By evening's end, the task was finished. Harry, aka the Defector, has revisited his first experience during the pledging ceremony. The Watchers organization has a secret society called the Order of the Code that licenses its members to operate above the law.

Joe Singletary, the Canadian member who was transferred to the Langley branch of the Pandora Project, has opted to return to Canada leaving in his wake a revealed secret that makes even Dr. Jennings tremble. Vavaan, one of the mathematicians at the Project, has decided to recreate the Jackson Stafford download and find out exactly what happened to the Candidate.
