Publisher's Summary

Science fiction meets historical facts in this thrilling novel by ancient language scholar Michael S. Heiser.

Haunted by his parents' death and his career failures, Dr. Brian Scott has begun to settle down in the life he's been given...until he's kidnapped by military insiders known as "The Group".

Disappearances. Visitations. Murder.

Brian and a team of world-class scholars are given a confidential mission: to prepare humanity for a new reality. They are here. But as the government's involvement with extraterrestrials is revealed, strange things begin to happen. Something isn't right. Unraveling layer after layer of deception and counter-deception, Brian moves toward a shocking revelation that will forever alter how humanity sees itself.

Everything represented in The Façade is real: Every document cited exists; every ancient text discussed is authentic; and every historical figure referred to or quoted in it actually exists.

Loved it!

Great book. I love Michael Heiser’s teaching and he weaved a lot of truths within this book. The narrator for audio version did a fabulous job.

The Narrator is good.

So, I have to say after hearing "Unseen Realm", and countless youtube and Poscast from Dr. Michael Heiser, I was looking forward to listening to his novel. However, I was scared off by some of the reviews about the Narrator for awhile. DON'T BE! From a person who has listened to thousands of books in the past 20 some years. I'm only on chapter 5 and the Story is intriguing and the Narrator does a good job reading it with character. Can't wait to finish this book........

Aliens or Demons?

Loved this work from MSH.
The scenes from below Area ___ and the hanger are my favorites.
I think I found the conspiracy beginning point.

Awesome and truthful

I like Dr. Mike Heisers books. So glad he's finally putting his fiction on audio. I'd rather listen than read.

This should be a movie!<br />

I love that this story has factual information behind it and that I learned while also being entertained. It is a storyline that is interesting and makes me eager for the next chapter. The narrator lends lots of drama to the book..other books fall flat comparatively. I can't wait to hear more!

Great story, awful production

Narrator uses the same voice, dialect, and intonation for every character

Production is peppered throughout with background music and sound effects, some of which are seemingly random and don't pertain to the scene in question

Periodic editing errors such as skipping which causes some information to be missed entirely

In spite of this, I found the story captivating, if a little clunky and overly expositional at times. I'd definitely recommend the actual book. But I can't in good consciousness recommmend this audio production of it.

Incredibly creative book

Loved the book and wish the sequel (The Portent) was already an audiobook. Highly recommend.
