This was a great, page-turning book with characters you pulled for and an exciting plot. The historical details made this Biblical time period come alive.

Way to Fix Narrator Complaint

I found that the narrator sounds much better at 1.10 - 1.15x speed. Don't let the complaints about the narrator rob you of this excellent book. In my top five.

I love literally EVERYTHING Tessa Afshar writes. This is no different. It weaves a beautiful testament to God’s goodness, His grace and His mercy. It provides action, adventure and is very thought provoking. LOVED IT.

Inspiring, fun and fast paced

I really enjoyed this novel! It"s fast paced & exciting throughout the whole book. I couldn't stop listening! I loved the storyline & the well developed characters. The narrator was excellent!

Another great book by Tessa Afshar

I love the writing style of Tessa Afshar. The way she draws you into her writing is addictive. The weaving of known biblical characters into fictional life stories is intriguing and enjoyable. I’ve always loved the biblical mystery behind Cyrus and loved this take on his life. Well done, Tessa! Can’t wait for more releases!

Really enjoyed this book and would recommend it highly. The narration was excellent and the characters were well developed.

Great story line and interesting. Never heard the background of Cyrus beyond scriptural references. Well done!

History and Fiction Seamlessy Woven Together

I liked everything about this story: court intrigue, betrayal, biblical and world history, jealously and a romance.

Great story and wonderful narration.

I could hardly stop listening. It was addictive! I look forward to more of her novels in the near future.

I loved the story - the what could have happened and especially LOVED the related scriptures at the beginning of each chapter. FITTING!!!

And the big words - lol - had me checking google “He might not win their Aprobation - But he would win their Acquiescence
