Publisher's summary

For anyone who's ever been on the receiving end of an unsolicited dick pic....

He has the muscles of Adonis, an ego bigger than the sun, and a very clear desire to get back in my pants. Which would be fantastic if he weren't a SEAL and I wasn't a criminal.

Although, I prefer the term avenger. I'm a hacktivist, cleaning up the cesspool of cyberspace one scam artist and troll at a time, and I sometimes bend a few rules to get justice done.

He's a military man with abs of glory, sworn to uphold the letter of the law no matter its shortcomings. And if he'd known who - or what - I was, I doubt he would've banged me at my best friend's wedding reception. Or come back for more.

Which is why he's now the only thing standing between me and one very pissed-off internet troll who's figured out where I live. I'm pretty sure he'll get me out of this alive - and quite satisfied, thank you very much - but I'm also pretty sure this mission will end with me in handcuffs.

And not the good kind of handcuffs.

Contains mature themes.

I laughed so much

Not going to lie if you don’t like a lot of raunchy words and awkward internal talks you will not enjoy this. I mean some of the things that come out of Eloise mouth or in her head I don’t know where Pippa came up with them. I found it ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. I was laughing from start to finish. The characters were great and the dialogue fantastic. These two were so opposite but for together so well. Opposites attract and all that. Loved the narrators on this story as well.

Laughed so much!

I love this story. It was the first book by this author that I read and I’m so glad that I did. Rhett and Eloise are awesome. Their inner dialogue as well as their conversations cracked me up so much. This is definitely my favorite Pippa book. I definitely recommend this book!

Love this series!!

The navy seal abs the hacker make a great pair! More friends more family altogether a great group! I love how they always have each other’s back ( as it should be ) and each odd ball finds their perfect match . I love that they all have flaws and love each other anyway.

Couldnt finish. I really tried several attempts! Could not grasp the heroine as being with any manners of a heroine!

DNF

I LOVE Teddy Hamilton.... I could listen to him read the phonebook. This story was so slow, I tried to get into it but, fell asleep twice... If it hadn't been for Teddys voice, I would have never gotten past the first chapter he read, confusing and BORING!! It just really wasn't for me.....

Don't like when women talk dirty talk like a tramp.

I enjoy romance and don't think of myself as a prude. Am disappointed in Ms Grant for female lead way of talking. Made her look and sound bad. Put herself down. did not make her look strong but embarrassing.

Not My Favorite

It's not my favorite book. I had a hard time connecting with the female lead. Part of it I know is the audio actor playing her part has a horrible tendency to overact every little word she says and not only does it get annoying to listen to but it is draining. It turns a likeable book into a chore. The other half of why it was hard to connect with the female lead is because of the writing. It's now 16 chapters in and we still haven't gotten anything REAL from her except a small blip with her brother and random, scared, disjointed bits. The other things readers are given of her are lies she has created to keep people away. Well, the author did just a bit too good of a job because I learned my lesson and I am going away. I don't want to fight with a character to understand him or her. If that's your bag, you're gonna love this one. Otherwise, stear clear.

Easy listen

Easy listening that doesn’t need thinking. Main focus is on sex scenes and sex thoughts so not so much dialog to tell the story.

*NOT* that funny and a little cringy.

Okay, I'll start by saying I read a lot of spicy romance novels and am perfectly able to overlook a little cheese factor here and there in the name of enjoying the overall story.

However, there was a LOT of cringe in this one. The main characters' meet cute was weird (she literally talks about how he's not the best looking of the brothers) and they have a very unsexy "bang" on their first encounter. Just not smooth or very believable (even by cheesy romance standards). In fact, it was downright crude (her legs were sticking straight out as he screwed her up against the table" and she "yodeled her orgasm". Doesn't paint an enticing image.

But then there's the worst part: the ridiculous use of euphemisms for body parts. Nothing is less sexy than referring to a c*ck as "his hard salami" "crotchodile" "sloppy slugger" and a p*ssy as "cooter" "vajayjay" or "muffin". It was almost bad enough to DNF this one. I actually would say I hated it. I am not really sure how I was able to overlook it. At one point, I caught myself making a face and audibly expressing my dislike of the author's word choices.

Honestly, I thought I had read other books by this author before and had enjoyed them...but this was unexpected and not in a pleasant way. Enough to make me seriously reconsider reading another by Pippa Grant.

I'm giving high marks to the narrators, whose voices and acting were terrific. And I'm giving the story mid marks because there was enough of a passable storyline to keep me interested in finishing the book. But I def feel the need to give a reality check since so many people are jocking this one as though it's brilliant and hilarious.

Not in my honest opinion.

Not bad, but not great either

I either love or hate books by this author, but this time, I find myself dead center, with no real feelings at all. It didn't annoy me as much as some of her other books, but it also wasn't as good as I wished it would have been. I listened to the audiobook, and it made the story come to life for me, but even two of my favorite narrators didn't do it for me. Not a bad book, just not great for me either.
