Let down with the ending

I thoroughly enjoyed series but was very disappointed that, after 22 parts (credits), the ending left things hanging - like there should be a part 23.

Late in Chapter20 the book started autocensoring.Anyone else? Audible said it was from narrator/author.

Absolutely riveting!

This story definitely needs more than five stars. Excellent character development with edge-of-the-seat action sequences.

Amazing!!

This book is just amazing! The performance by the narrator is outstanding. His voices are incredible! The story line has so much wit and intelligence. Sure, there are some events that I wish didn't happen but I'm so excited to see where this story takes me in the next book!

Joe Jameson gives a masterclass in narration

I remember when I was disgusted by the initial switch in narrator. Oh how wrong I was Jameson is so effective at differentiating characters you genuinely forget it's a one man show. From accents to gender he nails it. Particularly impressive feat when multiple characters are conversing at once and you don't need to be told who it's meant to portray as each character has such an identity. I don't know how he manages to do the female voices so well then switch to a deep baratone. Gifted.

More padding than a cheap bra

I really enjoy this series of books, and waited all this time for.........?

A massive disappointment, total nonsense and so much padding out and a lack of real substance. What happened to the continuity building on the ever growing threat from the child, other than a short reference?

Disjointed battles, and what's the point of the team aimlessly heading off looking to engage with the enemy - I'm just so disappointed and feel cheated, with no real linkage to the on-going story lines. Sadly I can only assume Mr Hayward is more interested in his other books and the Undead is now an inconvenience (given the lack of effort).

Seriously anyone could have wrote this book - this was a great series, I am really worried give the drop off over the last few editions.

Amazing as always, a roller coaster of emotions!

I really can't recommend this book and series enough! Mr Haywood never fails to deliver and this is no exception! the narration is especially amazing too I read the kindle version first but Joe really brings out the best in an already fantastically written story.

He's done it again

How Mr Haywood manages to come up with such great ideas for The Undead, again and again, is fantastic. I loved this day, number 29, in the life of Howie and Co. The format of having them all narrate the story as if writing a diary was a great idea. I can't wait for the next day to be released. Please Rich, can you hurry it up? Thanks.

Loved the storytelling through diary entries

I loved how the boss managed to tell the same story through diary entries. As not everyone’s story was told I was expecting some casualties in the group. Dave’s entry was the funniest as all swear words were beeped out. 😂😂😂

Boss, it was worth the wait. Take your time and come up with the right next chapter in one of my favourite series.

Also please give cooky a happy ending. He clearly hasn’t had one before!!

Started well but feels like there's butter spread over too much bread. No real storyline.

beware they started censoring

the story is really good
character's are excellent even if the voices swap person occasionally.
my biggest complaint on this book is that they have suddenly decided to censor all swearing even the word S@#T.
to make it worse the beep they use is so loud if you use head phones to listen like I do it hurts. my co worker next to me heard the beeps even tho he couldn't hear the rest of the book.

The Undead Chapter 21

I liked how the other books were written and the style they had more then the final chapter but this book gives more closure on each of the characters and let’s us have a more private insight on each character.
This series would make for a great set of films or tv series. As long as it doesn’t drag like the walking dead and focuses more on the banter and closeness of Howies pack.

RR Haywood is magnificent as always

Joe Jameson is perfect for these characters! He puts so much thought and emotion into every delivery. Joe Jameson's narrations teamed with RR Haywood's imagination and incredible writing make for the best audiobook I've listened to in years.
