Predictable hallmark book-but

Honestly I had to know what happened. Probably a better actual read. Did not like the voice actors— could have been wayyyyy better but besides it being predictable I kinda liked the journey of how it got to where you knew it would end up.

Not as Good as her other book

I really wanted to enjoy this book since the author's other book was AMAZING !! .. but sadly this one didn't deliver
The story is about Anabelle and Nick.. she is new to town to be a creative director for her friends company, and Nick is living a trauma after having a stroke and nine months later he is still in rehab, so Anabelle lives as a tenant in Nick's property and they form a "relationship" when Nick notices that Anabelle is breaking the rules .. but somehow they fall inove with each other ..?
I could't see the chemistry between the two since they both live in a different world and they don't officially meet until three quarter of the book and theb everything was moving too fast for my taste .. I am really disappointed that I didn't like this book bexause I LOVED Paris is Always A Good Idea .. I wish if we get some good books again because I have high hopes for this author
I would relly prefer if the books was in Lexi's ( Nick Sister) point of view and her story with Jackson was way more interesting to me than Nick and Anabelle

the narrators did a fantastic job narrating the book to keep me engaged throghout the book

Nothing exciting

Just really wasn’t happy with the storyline, nothing interesting happened and it turned out too perfectly at the end, not like real life. Skip.

My beach read…

Wait For It by Jenn McKinlay is a fun rom-com. I actually took it to the ocean to read it. It truly was my “beach read”. I loved the “Paris is always a good idea” reference, it made me smile. I can’t wait to see what Jenn McKinlay writes next.

sexy love scenes

a few swear words, sex scenes not too graphic but more than explanation of kissing

Great story!

I don’t believe I’ve read anything by this author so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find the story written so well and different than some of the other romance authors. Jenn creates a romantic but complex story and does it well. I couldn’t put the book down. I stayed up all night reading until the end. This doesn’t happen all the time that you find the story so compelling you can’t stop reading.

I highly recommend. I believe most romance addicts like myself will enjoy!

Fun book, distracting male narrator

The book overall was cute and I enjoyed it, but the male narrator's voice is extremely distracting and the weirdest accent I've ever heard.

This book is worth the listen. It made long runs bearable and by the middle, the miles flew by. Give it a go and you’ll be happy you did.

Duel Narrators Shine

Jenn McKinlay is the mistress of sweet, comic romances. For this production, I love the male/female narration, and wish more romantic stories were read by both male and female readers.
The story is romance at its best. Annabelle moves to Phoenix to become the artistic director in her best friend Sophie's advertising company. Sophie and her husband find temporary housing for Annabelle in the gorgeous outbuilding of the home of a mysterious curmudgeon of a landlord. Said landlord leaves rules and writes notes to his "tenant" about perceived infractions to his rules. Annabelle plans to charm the old codger!
Working in an office again, Annabelle is reminded of the good, comraderie and the bad, a nasty, jealous co-worker. It feels really good to see the way she navigates through the office mire and ends up a glowing star.
I have read this book before and I enjoyed listening to it so much, this is my second time through. You can count on feel good stories from Jenn McKinlay.
