Publisher's summary

Axel Nal is out of luck and out of time. He has failed every single induction ceremony and it is his last chance to Exceed to a higher class. At his wit's end, he desperately tries one last time at Exceeding, putting all his chips on the table...except something was different this time.

Time freezing, a mysterious voice, and a new Exceed Mark? Had lady luck finally given him a boon? Had he received a class the world had never seen before? One thing is for sure, he's changed. And now he has something called...the Gambler's System.

Join Axel and his companions as he journeys through this game-like world of the Five Kingdoms!

story development

so its a very good book, but i looked online for book 2 and its been 4 years since this one, so if you want a good unfinished story go for it.

Mid Lit-RPG

OK, the concept had some promise, but the execution of the story wasn’t as good as other series out there. It’s too bad it looks like the author hasn’t continued (there’s no book 2, and it’s been a while since book 1 was released) it seems like he would have improved, and I wouldn’t have minded reading further stories in this series.

Great story!

this is was a Great story! I found myself relating to the underdog scenario with everyone in the town. pretty much despising him and thinking he was worth nothing. I kind of wanted him to run into his bullies and show them up just a little bit. not too much but just a little bit to let them know they can't bully him anymore.

there were some parts that weren't explained like how was he able to increase his HP and MP with putting points into the corresponding stats but other than that its a good story

Lucky find for me!

I was looking for a luck stat book. This was a good interpretation of a luck stat going in a different direction. It was enjoyable.

MC is blinded

Why not learn more magic after you raise your int? You are besties with the shop owner and there be war! Also, during said war: lets say your plan works and you are in a strategic position, let's say behind enemy mages, would charging to 0m away with your bow in ✋ mentally yelling "YES, THEY JUST NOTICED US BUT WE'RE 50M AWAY!They'll have no time before we're 0m away! Then ill show my beast skillz with this bow in ✋." Would that make sense?

More for kids, I think.

it's not bad, but the MC is impatient and a bit bratty, like a child. Also the story was MC gets some power, wins, wins, wins all with no experience, no skill, no training. The story felt like a read for little kids, no for hardcore people that like this style of story.

Make characters Is an idiot

Continuing he doesn't use common sense or reasoning to figure stuff out, it's very annoying.
