Secrets Lurk, Death Awaits

After their mother is in an accident, Tara and Kyle go to stay with their grandparents. It seems weird, as their grandparents have never been a part of their lives. While Peter and May seem nice enough, Tara gets some weird vibes from around the house. She is convinced there are ghosts, and Kyle seems to sense that something is going on as well.
While they trying to figure out what is going on, their grandmother seems to become more sinister as the days go on. Tara wants to escape, and get back home, but there are things about the house that are calling to her.

This was a fabulous read. I could not stop listening!

Wonderful haunted story

Darcy has included all the tropes us Ghost story lovers crave and wove a brand new story out of them. Strong, close third person POV. So nice getting to know Tara, our plucky little heroine.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Great story, great narrator. I love this author. My only complaint is that it was over so quickly. The author should write a sequel!

Fun light spooky

Hoped for more interaction with the ghosts but it was spooky and unexpected in parts. Fun book

A Good Distraction

Some interesting twists, but underdeveloped plot line. The character backstory seems limited. I still have questions.
