Story
He's a billionaire heir. A grump supreme. Hater of people. Bigger hater of peopling with people. And my new fake boyfriend. "Emotionally unavailable" doesn’t even begin to describe Hayes Rutherford. He has more defenses than a nuclear missile silo. And he’s the ultimate catch of the century. At least, according to his bank statement. My job’s simple: Keep all interested ladies away from the walled-off heir, by pretending to be his one true love. But you know what they say about fake-dating a billionaire: It’s all fun and games, until the scandals start.

Story
"Happily Ever After" wasn't supposed to come with a do-over option. But when my husband of 20 years packs up and heads for greener pastures, and my son heads away to college, that's exactly what my midlife becomes. A do-over. This time, though, I plan to do things differently. Age is just a number, after all, and at 40 I'm ready to carve my own path. Eager for a fresh start, I make a somewhat unorthodox decision and move to a tiny town in the Sierra foothills.

Stella Lane thinks math is the only thing that unites the universe. She comes up with algorithms to predict customer purchases - a job that has given her more money than she knows what to do with as well as way less experience in the dating department than the average 30-year-old. It doesn't help that she has Asperger's and that French kissing reminds her of a shark getting its teeth cleaned by pilot fish. She decides that she needs lots of practice - with a professional - which is why she hires escort Michael Phan.

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old". Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.

When you think about how easy it is to lose keys, phones, sunglasses and your dignity on social media, you might figure it'd be a cinch for me to ditch my V Card. You'd be wrong. At 25, I run a successful business, live in a fantastic apartment, and have fabulous friends to go out with any night of the week. And yet I'm still a card-carrying member of a club I don't want to belong to anymore. Good thing I know just the man for the deflowering job - my brother’s business partner and best friend.

Story
The first time we met was at a party. Your ex arrived to show off the person he'd left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date. I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty--and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days. The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing. The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact. I know I'm crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that's the only reaction I can get out of you, I'll gladly take it. You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week. I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong. I know that I'm only supposed to be the adviser to your program and nothing more, but here's the thing. I think you're falling for me too.

Story
We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod”, and she was “Montana”, but of course those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind. Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape - my sanctuary. Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out. From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed. She was an addiction. At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities...and she was adamant that we keep things that way.

Oz Gallagher does not do relationships well. Bored and jobless after another disastrous hook up, he decides to leave London for a temporary job in the wilds of Cornwall. Surely managing a stately home on a country estate will be easier than navigating the detritus of his relationships at home. However, when he gets there, he finds a house in danger of crumbling to the ground and a man who is completely unlike anyone he’s ever met.

Gracie Reed is doing just fine. Publisher's Summary
A hilarious, opposites attract/enemies to lovers romance, The Fine Line Between Love and Hate will have you laughing and swooning at the same time.
She's not a quiet librarian.
My landlord is infuriating.
He's uptight and rigid, right down to those dress shirts that do nothing to hide the muscle underneath. Sure, I never read the tenant's agreement. I have now. In fact, I've memorized it and I'm going to use it to my advantage while staying within the bounds of my contract. Is it my fault that those little decorative touches drive Charlie nuts? And who can resist purchasing a few vulgar gnomes to enhance the landscape?
He's uptight and rigid.
Note to self: Do not allow my mother to choose a tenant for my house ever again.
She's the opposite of the quiet librarian I'm expecting. My tenant is outspoken, vibrant, and seems to get off on pushing all my buttons.
It drives me nuts, but there's something there. Something that sparks a fire in me and when we're not butting heads those flames ignite.
Whatever is happening couldn't possibly work. We're too different. I'm too set in my ways.
Evie pushes me out of my comfort zone and she doesn't seem willing to give up, even though we hate each other more often than not.

Adorably laugh-out-loud funny!
This was a completely adorable story! Who would have ever thought these two could mix and mingle and not come out dead or dismembered! Evie and Charlie are so incredibly different! Evie was amazing and I could seriously see her and I being besties! I like her outlook on life. Charlie is... umm... uptight? Wound so tight he might just explode is really about right! His uptight ways made me laugh and roll my eyes... I just can't imagine. I'm surprised he doesn't have ulcers the amount he stresses.
Anyway, the narrator, Heather Firth was fantastic! She was upbeat and fun... just what this book calls for. There were some sections in the story that were so funny that you could feel Miss Firth's smiles! Enjoyed her narration a lot.

Librarian VS Teacher Against Garden Gnomes
The Fine Line Between Love and Hate is a frolicsome, opposites attract/enemies to lovers romance. This is a fashionable, innovative novel that is charming and so much fun to listen to. It will have you laughing out loud and felling giddy. I absolutely adored Evie and her peppy personality. I loved Charles and his uptight attitude. These two opposites attract and bring out the best in each other. I loved the comical banter between Evie and Charles. Supporting character's were campy and brought extra frenzy. I loved how each chapter had a title and told who was talking. With a perfect epilogue to wrap up this witty narrative.
Narrator Heather Firth did excellent voice changes for each character. The narration showcases a smooth, light tone, with a perfect pace. I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook and plan on doing a relisten. Looking forward to listening to more audiobooks from this narrator and author. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook as it brings happiness.

Enemies to lovers in a small town
The Fine Line between Love and Hate is a classic Enemies to Lovers Trope. The story started out strong, but i found the middle of the book began to slow down for me. It felt like a lot of day to day information that didn't move the plot forward. The couple is sweet and you do care about their relationship, but i felt that some of the details were unnecessary to the plot. The narration was good and the male and female voices were distinct. Since this was a dual POV story with only one narrator there were times where I got a little confused. I enjoyed the small town this book took place in and the Gnomes were hysterical.

Sweet and cute romance
This was an easy listen. Great narration and a good story line. I liked that the male character wasn’t the embodiment of perfection but would have liked if the author delved a bit deeper into his ‘quirks’. It felt like the issue was being skirted a little. Loved and laughed about the garden gnomes!

Love and hate romcom
Really enjoyed this first book by a new author, it’s a quirky hate of ones landlord until Evie gets one look at him, only the first sight doesn’t reveal their relationship with one another and then the fun begins. Evie sounds like a girlfriend anyone who loves shenanigans would love. It’s a cute, and crazy love story of not giving up on love even with opposites in the mix. Charles is stuck in his ways, will Evie make him realize he needs to change, listen to find out what all the gnome is about, lol.
I’m going to check if I have any other audiobooks by Heather Firth, really loved her narration of both POVs, she shows amazing talent in expressing both views. Loved this audiobook, time well spent♥️

Fine Line Between Love and Hate Complete Series
The Fine Line Between Love and Hate: The Complete Series
Evie moves into a rental house that is just perfect for her, at least until her new landlord leaves the first of several irritating notes on her front door. Charlie is shocked when the librarian his mother chose to be the new tenant in his rental house reacts badly to his reasonable requests. The lease on the house clearly states no changes are to be made to the flower beds or the lawn. After one too many notes, though, Evie decides to get revenge. You can only break a rule if you know what the rules are, so she arms herself with the rental agreement. The town of Mistik Ridge looks on in amazement as the rigid Charlie begins to bend to the will of the effervescent Evie.
If you're looking for a fun story with a wild librarian and an OCD school teacher, this is the book for you!

While I really liked the story it was very predictable but still a enjoyable read. The narrator was easy to listen to even if she was bordering whiny at times. Not to her fault I think it was just the characters. Not as funny as I was expecting. The epilogue was sweet, but I got to say there’s no way I’d wait until 4 minutes apart. No way, and for him to be high handed and try to keep the epi away, there’d be bloodshed. So overall good but was hoping for awesomely funny.

I personally wouldn't call this a laugh out load, it does have some humour though, I found this to be a lighthearted easy listen, it wasnt filled with loads of sex which I found refreshing, it was just a pleasant listen, the narrator did a good job as well, I would recommend this for a easy listen. audiobook obsessions reviewer.

A Very Sweet and Witty Romance Story❣
"A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, " is a very sweet and witty romantic love story written by Ashley Erin. I truly enjoyed it; from start to finish.
This was my 1st from Ashley Erin; the author and the narrator Heather Firth. Ashley has great imagination and originality. I definitely will look for other novels written by her in the future.
Heather Firth has a natural given gift that showed brightly throughout each character she spilled out line after line.
I recommend this book to every romantic at Heart❣

My Thoughts on The Fine Line Between Love and Hate
This story was really good. It was surprisingly good, and I only say that because this is a new to me author and I read a lot of alpha type guys and this book wasn't that but still totally hit the mark for me.
Charlie was very organized and structured and very much against change. So I got a lot of enjoyment out of watching him go up against Evie. She was such a free spirit and such a wonderful character. I think that was both because and despite her upbringing.
The narration in this was awesome. Heather Firth is one of those narrators that grows on me with every new book I listen to her preform. She has a really enjoyable general tone for female characters and her male voice is pretty good as well. I look forward to listening to more of her work.
If you're looking for a fantastic small town romance then check this out. I know I will definitely want to listen to more from this author.

I was cracking up
I really enjoyed this book. I feel like I kept putting it off b/c of other reviews I read but I wish I wouldn’t have. It felt a little long but there wasn’t a lot of angst so I enjoyed it. I loved the characters. I did feel like Charlie had to give/change a little more to compromise than Evie did. I loved the banter and the gnomes. The narration was great! I definitely recommend this book. No cliffhanger here.

Everything I Want In a Love/Hate
If you are considering this book THEN LISTEN TO IT!
I seriously fell in love with this whole book and never wanted to stop listening to it. Actually, as I am writing this review, I want to start it all over again! This book is everything I want in a love/hate trope. It fit perfectly together and honestly had an interesting story to it as well! I loved the dynamic between the characters and it was just what I needed. The pacing is fantastic throughout the whole book and I never felt bored or repeated situations. The characters grew so well together and were completely made for each other. This is a book I highly, highly, highly recommend.
And the audio was amazing. I'm so glad I listened to it because Heather Firth is an amazing narrator!
