Tie up loose ends

I wish this had been the first book in the series. It tied up all the loose ends and was a story of the history of the first 3 in the series. Time wasted I think.

Love this series! Good Narration!

The narration was great. Her voice fit the story well. Nice tone and emotion. I’d recommend listening.

I like the world this story is set in, and I’ve really enjoyed all the previous books. Love Nivian! The thing is, I’m not a huge fans of prequels; I find them sad because I know how much of a struggle these characters have to go through. Reading about the past and what happened to Nivian just depresses me; all that lost time because of someone else’s stupid actions. With that said, it was great to get Nivian’s origin story of sorts. It’s always great to get more of Kane and her! Also, I really enjoyed seeing more about how Nivian and Caspian came together. There’s lots of Silas and Yeva in this book, which they aren’t my favorite, but still interesting. The writing is great and the whole idea for this series is unique. I’d recommend reading the previous stories first, so you can have that deeper connection with the characters. The story is still interesting and any fan of this series should give this story a chance. This series as a whole is wonderful and I really enjoyed it.

This world sucks you in

Getting more of a look at Nivian’s past was both heart breaking and interesting. I enjoy the way this story progresses and keeps the action going.

A Great Prequel!

I really enjoyed getting all my questions answered in the fourth book that acts more like a prequel. And it's safe to say Eva has always been on the crazy side. It was nice to see how everything came together in the way that it did to get to the point of no return. It was also interesting to see how the characters were before. I would've liked to have known how Nivian and Kane faired after book 3, but this was a good alternative.

I loved this series!

This is a great book. I loved the entire series. The narrator does a great job telling the story and expressing the emotions of the characters. I look forward to more books from this author.
