Good story but a bit mixed up

Don’t know if this was intentional or if somebody messed up. The book is really as if they are reading all three at once ch 1 of bk1, bk2, &bk3. Ch2 bk1,bk2…
Pretty confusing at 1st but. I enjoyed it.

readers voice is awful

I loved the story. Tessonja Odette did a great job
BUT Caitlin Davies is not the person to read books. Her voice is SHRILL!!!

Couldn’t stand the main character

It felt like 90% of the book was the main character being rude and awful to everyone around her, including people she claimed to care about, and then slogging through her internal monologue as she attempts to justify her behavior and remind herself she’s the real victim. She is worst to the people who are nothing but kind to her and she never apologizes. She repeatedly forces the MMC to do things against his will (after repeatedly saying she would never use her power against him), and never faces any consequences, everyone just acts like her behavior is totally ok and justified when it is 100% unnecessary. I was hoping that part of the plot would be her learning and growing up out of this awful personality trait, but it did not get any better. If anything the justification of it became more heavy handed as the trilogy went on. It was gross.

Terrible Narration,

Caitlin Davies is terrible at narrating this book. Shrill voice, strange cadence which makes it hard to listen to and distracting. I really wanted to like this book but I couldn't get past chapter 9. I'll be deleting this book collection from my library. If I can find it on Kindle then I'll get it, and hope I don't hear Caitlin Davies voice in my head as I'm reading it.
