Good story but a bit mixed up

Don’t know if this was intentional or if somebody messed up. The book is really as if they are reading all three at once ch 1 of bk1, bk2, &bk3. Ch2 bk1,bk2…
Pretty confusing at 1st but. I enjoyed it.

readers voice is awful

I loved the story. Tessonja Odette did a great job
BUT Caitlin Davies is not the person to read books. Her voice is SHRILL!!!

OVER. IT. used as white noise just to BE DONE

this by far has been the most dragging on experience that I have experienced through an audiobook yet.
I forget to preview before purchasing but I get excited over book sales. I probably won't forget from here on out.
don't get me wrong I know I have attention issues from time to time and if my brains not with it I have to go back and listen to a part of a story several times before I hear it. I barely stopped to rehear any part of this trilogy because I just wanted it done.
the story was cute but if you listen to it with a manga view( if that makes sense) it was pretty cliche on what you could expect to happen next.

the performance probably is what killed it the most.
she read every other sentence exactly the same as the second before last in the same exact rise and fall of tones and emotion whether it be walking down a hallway or being surprised or irritated by something or someone stabbing her.

I spent a huge portion of this wondering if this is how people hear a story in their head when they read it to themselves and was saddened by the loss of experience they don't know they suffer from when set up with an actual good novel before them

I was not impressed and am writing this dreading the horrible surprise that there was still book #3 left to listen to.

I'm boosting the speed again just to be done with it already.

spicy scenes were juvenilishly soft to where they left you kind of wondering when they had finished being as they abruptly ended when they seemed to have just started.

can I just say that it was such an absolute eye roll to how wrecked she was after they'd been together only long enough to get sand in their cracks and then have to call it quits when she had such contempt for him her whole life leading up to like the day before yesterday?

for the love of peaches please don't surprise me with any removed chapters at the end for a fun surprise....

sorry. I'm generally not nasty and I could just stop listening but a purchase is a purchase and my ocd won't let me leave it. egh
