Great treatment of historical life & truth.

Dr. Heiser has once more hit it out of the park. He breaks down the tall tales as he infuses Biblical facts to make this book the best on the subject I've ever experienced. If you were disappointed with its companion book "ANGELS" because it came across as too academic or not filling in all the gaps this time the author goes all the way ... and then some. I ordered it as soon Audible introduced it. Get this one & prepare to take on evil as Farher-God meant for His imagers to do just as His Blessed Son has done. I doubt if it will disappoint any one. I plan to give it a repeat listen very soon to pick up on those important points I may have glazed over too quickly. It will remain in my library for many years to come.

Michael Heiser is such a good author.

Love all of his books, they are a little bit on the academic side, so I normally end up listening through them a couple of times to soak everything in. But, this book certainly helps paint a more accurate picture of the supernatural landscape. Thanks, Doctor!

A Scholarly Approach to Defining and Understanding Demonology

This book is not going to necessarily reinforce the pop culture OR Christian popular narratives on demons-Heiser analyzes scripture and historical perspectives to provide a rational understanding of how demonology should be defined and where it belongs in a Christian worldview.
The reader incorporates Heiser’s voluminous notes in stride, which are always enlightening! I feel like having the actual book would be helpful in revisiting areas that hit deep scholastic levels.

My only complaint was I was unable to download the PDF which is referenced many times. Other than that it was awesome I learned a lot!
