Publisher's Summary

According to Christianity, man is an enemy of God and does not seek him (Romans 3). This short work from Thomas Chalmers shows what is necessary to move one from a life of enmity toward God to one as a child of God. It is knowing, seeing, and tasting God as infinitely valuable. Human beings are creatures whose hearts, like nature, detest a vacuum, and so to expel the sin and selfishness in our hearts, we must fill them with something that is better and more satisfying - namely, Jesus Christ.

Excellent sermon

Excellent sermon on the idolatry of sin and the heart of sinful man, the only cure for a bad desire is a right desire.

Performance was SO boring

Void of any emotion, Thomas would hate this reading. Such a powerful story. Yet told as if he were reciting lines of computer code.

👍👍

An excellent read of an excellent book. Kinunen's syrupy voice made me want to be a better person.
