You’ve got everything she wants....

Newly married Natasha has the perfect house, a loving husband, and a beautiful little girl called Emily. She’d have it all if it wasn’t for Jen, her husband’s ex-wife who just won’t leave them alone....

Then Natasha returns home one day to find her husband and Emily gone without trace. Desperate to get her daughter back, Natasha will do anything even if it means accepting an offer of help from Jen. But can she trust her? And do either of them really know the man they married?

If you loved The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl or The Couple Next Door, then this dark, twisting psychological thriller from Amazon best-seller Jess Ryder is guaranteed to grip you.

"This is, without a doubt, one of the best psychological thrillers I have read this year.... OMG this book is so darn good!.... I kept telling myself, 'Just one more chapter', then before I knew it, I had devoured it in one day! If you are looking for a fast-paced engaging read, this is the book for you! I highly recommend giving it a whopping 5 stars." (Sistas with Books Book Club, 5 stars)

I don't want to give away the plot so I'm limited in what I can say without giving out spoilers. But I can at least say that it was very frustrating. The lead female character seems pretty stupid. But then she is a young, impressionable woman

She gets better towards the end but some of the story is so improbable that it comes off ridiculous.

I did end up appreciating the character Anna who is human and vulnerable and a total wreck. That made her realistic.

Frustrating

This author really knows how to make magic happen with words. Every book I've listened to has been amazing. This one really hit me hard. Probably because I'm a Mother and can only imagine what Natasha went through. I was up late into the night before I finished it. What a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Definitely worth every penny! I would give 10 stars if I could. 😀😀😀

One of the best books ever!!

I kept thinking I knew who the culprit was and how the crime occurred. Wrong, wrong, wrong! I kept being surprised until the final chapter.

Loved it!

This one was very her for me to follow. The back & fourth with all the different names is rough. Plot was awesome, but I wish it was more consistent.

Hard to follow

An exciting ride that doesn’t let you down. Based on all the negative reviews, I must have been in just the perfect mood for this story.

This book sucked me in and kept me hooked all the way through. At this point with this genre, you know the “Shocking Big Twists” are coming and for me part of the fun is being able to guess what they will be. Some of the twists I saw coming, others I didn’t…

I predicted the twist at the end in the women’s storyline early on (I won’t say more to avoid spoilers) but had no idea how we’d get there.

The very very last twist was just annoying and unnecessary, but so what – it didn’t ruin the fun.

What fun!
