If you like main character being a single Extremely naïve woman, extremely naïve

Definitely not my cup of tea As I do not appreciate main characters being blind to reality, like a child not seeing what’s in front of her, so naïve is the main character shocked by the unveiled truth throughout the entire book till the end when she finally realizes her weakness in taking people at face value. The narrator‘s nervousness depicting this character was enough to put me off not wanting to Continue listening.The twists were interesting but drowned out by this Ignorant, irritating single woman With no back bone,totally absorbed in her son, her life.

This really has a twist you won’t see coming and the narration makes it just oh so perfect.

Loved it! Worth every credit/or penny depending on what format you use.

The New Wife

I couldn't put this book/listen down, it was one of her best! I have read most of this author's books, she has the ability to keep you guessing to the end and this was no exception. I loved it and am looking forward to the next. The narration is excellent.

Overall Good!

After reading the description, I thought I knew where the book was going to go, but I was wrong. Watson takes you on many turns which most aren't correct. I loved the varied characters with varied emotions that were believable. I didn't give it 5 stars because at times I felt the story dragged and Sam's mom what a little stupid. I liked the way it ended which made me listen to the ending again. Also, I loved the narrator Tamsin Kennard. Her voice highlighted all emotions and was nice to listen to.

Enjoyable listen

Narrator did a great job. Story had a few twists. Main character was a bit wet but still made a good listen.

Good listen

A lot of twist and maybe too many, too much chatter from characters that twist the story but other than that I enjoyed it. There were some great parts and I do like the twist but more so the one that occurred naturally. Good character development, I thought. If you are looking for a not to serious, easy listen, this is one.

Sue Watson does not disappoint

I saw a not so good review on this title but still wanted to listen and formulate my own. Great story and it keeps you guessing and you will find a big surprise ending!

I love stories that take surprising twists and turns. This one does for sure! I couldn’t stop listening.

The New Wife

Loved this book. It’s the first Sue Watson book I’ve listened to but it won’t be the last. Yes, the main character is naive & too trusting, but that didn't take away from the overall story because it was so good. There were great & unexpected twists. The narrator was excellent. I could listen to her all day. I highly recommend this book. I’m now a Sue Watson fan.
