Being an entrepreneur can be scary, but so can driving long distances alone. I am not suggesting that there is anything wrong with it or us. I am also not suggesting that entrepreneurship is a disease, and I am certainly not poking fun at anyone in recovery or who's gained in life from similar books. I am just suggesting that entrepreneurship can be a bit of an addiction. Staying focused can be a challenge. Wanting to do it alone may be something at our core—an "if you want something done right, you do it yourself" kind of thing. Winning with others is still winning and sure beats losing alone or even winning alone.

Get on the bus™. Let's plot a vision, a destiny of your choosing. Let's stay the course and learn how to pivot if really needed. Learn from others' mistakes and enjoy your ride.

Great Parallels Between the Two

Author does a great job at combining 12 step principles and entrepreneurship. I like that he positions himself as a guide, not a guru, even though he has plenty of experience in the trenches. As a member of a 12 step fellowship, he clearly understands the steps, concepts, and traditions!

So relatable and applicable

This book is just what I needed to give me a sense of community and ownership over my decisions. Chris really understands the true dichotomy of entrepreneurship and gives such simple and digestible directions towards managing a balanced life as a business owner

First time read

I found the book enjoyable and helpful with my journey. I mostly enjoyed listening about other peoples case histories, it made the extremely relatable.

Really enjoyed and appreciated Chris’s application of the 12 Steps to business !

Give’s additional meaning to practicing these principles in all our affairs !

Highly recommend for all entrepreneurs in or not in recovery.
