A book for anyone!

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to start or help their current business. It's a quick read with a lot of touching personal experiences, and chalked with great information!

Informative and inspiring

I loved how mark didn’t sugar coat the failures. Mark clearly detailed what a successful business looks like and how to build it!

There are some pearls

The book is mostly about getting your head on right to start and succeed in your blue collar business. I study money because I'm dirt poor. I want to know what it is that others understand that I don't.

I've completed taxes before and was surprised when a couple of brothers who were plumbers each made close to $75,000 working for their father who has a plumbing business. It made me wonder what kind of money the father's business must be making to be able to pay his sons that much and pay himself too. I think the author was right on when he said that most people don't know how to run the business part of the business and that is what keeps many from trying. Don't worry. You'll make mistakes. Keep making mistakes as you get better. Just get started.

Misleading title

I appreciate any entrepreneurs that take time to educate others on their journey to enlightenment, as I do with Mark Stoner.

Unfortunately for me, I felt the story fell flat on its promise to teach how to build a company and instead felt like more of an auto biography of his life events with very little insight on how to run the day to day business. The best advise was given when he recommends the books of others to seek out their guidance.

If you’re looking for a book that helps get your head on straight and helps you to set a goal for your future, this is possibly the book for you. If you’re looking to learn how to build and manage a business, this just isn’t the book.

Great book

I live in Nashville also. I am getting into the gas fireplace service business. I currently do it working for somebody for a company that shall remain nameless, but I see how badly customers get treated and how much money he is making. I can only imagine how much could be made if customers were treated properly and business was handled better hopefully I can do that with the help of this book thank you, Mr. Stoner.
