This entire series was great!

Very action packed! Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! The descriptions paint a very vivid picture to set the tones of what's happening.

Why the random chapters?

Loved the story. Just don't get why 3 random chapters from Druid were thrown in...

I read this series years ago. As good as I remember it and helps pass the time when driving.

Another great book by Terry! I love this series! I do wish that the narrators would all pronounce the names the same in this series though. Otherwise great!

When I first bought this book in the earl 1990's I couldn't put it down. I still love this book and highly recommend it.

doesn't disappoint

Terry Brooks did it again. This book is an awesome continuation of the Shannara stories. It is compelling and spellbinding. John Lee brings the characters to life in fascinating ways.

Fun, unique adventure within the world of Shannara

with a different place setting for the most part and some different characters, this is a somewhat unique story amongst the Shannara books. It's not necessarily my favorite Shannara book, but That's stiff competition since this is one of my favorite fantasy worlds and by no means am I saying this isn't a great story. it will take you out of the normal flow of the Four Lands, and give you something different and fun to experience!

overcoming adversity

all the characters had to overcome so many obstacles. and horrible monsters. with strength, character and a bit of magic they all accepted the challenge.
