The Earth Legend (Hidden Legends: Academy of Magical Creatures Book 3) ~~ This book hit me hard emotionally. The consequences from the last book tear everything open, and the characters are forced to rebuild from nothing. I loved the scenes centered around earth magic — they were powerful, raw, and symbolic of the healing these characters desperately needed. The battles were brutal, and the losses were heartbreaking.

There’s a moment in this book where someone steps up in a way no one expected, and I swear I had tears in my eyes. It was the perfect blend of courage and sacrifice. By the end, I was gripping my phone waiting to see what would happen next.

The Audible narration carried every emotion — the fear, the strength, the grief — and switching between reading and listening felt completely natural.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.

Liam and Sophia both suck...

Sophia is an obsessive massocist with seemingly no common sense or self preservation. Meanwhile, Liam is a man child that has no emotional regulation. I don't understand why everyone wants them to be together!? They don't even make fantasy sense! Much less realistic sense...

Invested to only be disappointed

It would have been a decent series if there wasn't such ''woke" propaganda that is a turnoff and not expected until I was already invested in the series. At the end of every single book the authors even have the same speech that "United States took the land from the indigenous and they acknowledge this". Meanwhile these books do not even include indigenous people.
Spoilers:
Almost every character becomes either gay or bisexual. I don't mind this normally if it's one or two but to all of a sudden make the female lead who is supposed to be soulmates with the male lead all of a sudden have a bisexual affair just took from the true love romance theme. Then they make the male lead emotionally weak and suicidal. Also there is a lot of rip off of hunger games except they have magical abilities and only the strong ones come out alive. I really wanted to like this series especially since there are so many spin-offs but it's not worth getting invested in the next series if it's the same as this one.
I'm very glad I did not spend any money or credits on this.
