Publisher's Summary

When jaded and overworked Los Angeles literary agent Daniel Ashe hires Annie Doherty, an Irish dog walker, he's simply looking for someone to care for his dogs so he can focus on landing a dream client and save his career. He certainly doesn't expect to come home each night to find Annie has left him a new and fantastical story about the secret lives of his dogs - or that she's cast him, a man who doesn't believe in love, as a romantic hero.

When his personal life and professional one collide, Daniel must ask himself how much he really knows about his dog walker and whether he's truly incapable of falling in love after all.

Better a Hallmark Movie than a Novel

The disjointed plotline, predictable and cliche "twists" and stereotypical characters would have actually played out well in a 90 minute Hallmark movie. Unfortunately I spent 9+ hours waiting for this book to get better. It didn't.

Excellent

I so enjoyed Ms Donahue’s story that I found it hard to pause. It is an excellent story with just the right twists to keep me listening. Her attention to detail was enjoyable. I can’t wait for her next book.

What a bunch of twists and turns and creativity

I have fallen in love with this book. It is sweet, but clever and compelling. It was also fun to listen to.
