The story keeps your interest going through out its entirety. The added bonus, once again in the amazing narration by Maria Nicola Johnson.

Enjoyable Listen

As with all of the audiobooks in this series, this audiobook was an enjoyable listen. I enjoy these stories and the narration by Maria is perfect. I enjoy her unique voices she has for each character.

The Discarded companion

The Discarded Companion by Rosanne E. Lortz is an excellent historical regency romance. Maria Nicola Johnson did an excellent job with the narration. The Discarded Companion is part of Cousins of Cavandish Square. The story is witty, entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, clean, wholesome, and more. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Regency Romance

Delightful entertaining love story with some interesting characters and story line.

Very Enjoyable...

I really enjoyed this story! I was a bit curious (and slightly concerned) about how everything would come together, but I needn’t have worried—it all came together brilliantly in the end. While I would have liked to see a bit more comeuppance for certain characters, the resolution was still satisfying. The narration was excellent and an absolute joy to listen to from start to finish.

Absorbing listen

Gemima and Graham were engaging and likable characters, and seemed to fit together from the first (imo) , but each needed time to see the other's admirable qualities and chemistry between them. Obstacles threaten them, but are resolved in a satisfying conclusion. An entertaining and enjoyable story. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing it all to life.

A Charming and Cozy Historical Romance

It is a clean, cozy historical romance with a strong female main character. It’s part of a series, but you can totally enjoy it as a standalone. The story flows nicely, and the narration is solid—easy to listen to and really brings the characters to life. Overall, it’s a light, enjoyable read perfect for when you’re in the mood for something sweet and relaxing.

Slow

I didn’t care for this one. It’s quite slow and took me forever to get into. I came very very close to a DNF, and would have except that I purchased the audiobook so felt I needed to finish.

There isn’t anything intrinsically wrong with the book (the content is fine and the writing smooth enough), I just didn’t find it engaging at all. The bad guy is quite terrible and the story centers around his evil plotting. The FMC’s response to it all seemed exaggerated, and she eventually started to annoy me. The MMC was alright but… eh.

Not on my recommended list.

There is no foul language, sex, or violence. The romance is limited to lightly descriptive kisses. There is no mention of faith or God.
