He thought his final assignment would be simple: Transport a package from Japan to Amsterdam. But for Orlando's mentor, Abraham, the job was not at all like he expected and ended up haunting him. Seven years later, Quinn and Orlando know something is up when Abraham asks for a favor. At his age, he should be sitting on a beach, enjoying his retirement, not working. After he tells them of his search for the last package he ever delivered, they help him unravel the truth, but soon realize they can't simply look for answers. They must also protect the package, no matter the cost. They just need to find it first.

the whole team working together. It's an entertaining story and I love Scott Brick's narration so a credit well spent!

This isn't one of the best Quinn stories but it isn't the worst either, it was better than average just not great. It feels abridged. There is very little about the characters which is what attracted me to the series to begin with. If you haven’t read/listened to the earlier books you won’t get the references to the character’s personality or past and this novel adds nothing new to the characters. They go through the motions, get the job done.

Above average but Brett has done better

Great story. Great author and love the narrator. Thrilling plot. This book will not disappoint!

Very enjoyable!

Jonathan Quinn and the gang are back, and Brett Battles does his usual wonderful job telling a twisting, turning, engaging yarn of murder and intrigue. There are few authors I immediately grab their latest from and he is one. I thought the tale of Tessa and Abe, and the eventual backstory for what gets the tale rolling was just riveting. How I missed this in the canon of Quinn/Nate/Orlando novels, I don't know, but it was worth every minute.

Battles is a kickass storyteller

Whew, I just finished the book. It was filled with great twists, turns etc., without being totally confusing. The reader nailed the book and the characters. I truly appreciated that when the various "good guys" got into situations, they got out of them in believable ways ... not super human crap. I also loved that there there were no "dead spots" that felt like fillers. It was just a great book to experience. I hope you agree.

Just loved it
