Terrific Dark Fantasy Series

A fitting end to an incredible dark fantasy series with very good narration. I hope that Michael Scott Earle continues Kaiyers story, the author has created an incredible universe, series has adult language and themes but it adds to the story and not gratuitous. In my humble opinion this is MSE’s best work, very engaging and creativity organized, not chronological, the 4 books is a rough 80 plus hours of terrific listening. Again if you are a SCI FI fantasy fan the series is a must

Loved it

The 21 hours to listen to this book flew by. Just hearing of kaiyer in his prime was amazing. Then to hear how the mind of how iolarathe works was very interesting. Lots of twists and turns and exciting the whole way through. I'm just said I won't find another good book to read for a while.

is there more?

After finishing these 4 titles, I haven't been this enthralled by a story in a long time! The story was so intricate, and the final chapter makes me want to go back and re-listen to the entire series again....but is this it? Is there a book 5 coming? I hope so, it still feels like there's something missing in the denouement. I'll have to keep an eye out for another book.

Great story, rushed end

Loved the series until this book. A lot of book 4 is recycled content from another point of view and the end feels rushed.

Incredible

Plenty of action and emotion. I feel like many questions are answered with this book. Questions I've had for a long time, and questions I didn't even know I had.

Amazon can get fucked for what they've done to MSE

i loved this series, despite the male narrator sounding like a drone most of the time. the concept and turn arounds are fantastic, the characters are very well built and the memories are even better than the main storyline at times.

The chapters were misplaced

While the story was good, the last chapter ended up in the middle of the book. The experience was somewhat disappointing.

So disappointed

I was left with disappointing feelings after this book as the first three book were great and lead you through this great fantasy world only to have it chucked back in your face with this last book that leaves you with a feeling of is that it, at the end due to it poor ending that seemed rushed and unfinished, read at your own displeasure.
