Nice add-ons but wish they were longer!

In this mini-anthology of Demon Accord shorts u get a snippet of Lydia's POV when Tanya first met Chris, Gramps POV of Chris when he began using his demon killer powers as a boy, Declan's 21st bday party at a bar focusing on Arcadie and his sinister sense of humor, and a glimpse of at least 1 new character (possibly 3) when he has a lycan encounter and meets some of the kids from Arcadia on a camping trip.

I wanted more of the Lydia POV for the new perspective of Chris and Tanya, the insight into Tanya's vulnerability and a look at Lydia beyond the ever increasing snarky be-ooch she has devolved into as the books progress.

I would also enjoy more on Gramps and Chris but probably not a whole book. The bar bday party didn't need to be more than it was although I enjoyed seeing more of Archadie's personally and am praying that the new character (s) and the group they run into don't get their own lengthy storyline. Personally, I found the Mac and Jenna story a couple books back boring. I would have rather read about it with more of Declan's perspective intertwined as he became more and more angry because his friends were missing.

0ne dimension

As a lycanthrope, Im tired of being portrayed as a violence proned dumb jock, while the vamps being the 1000 year old cool kids. Some Vamps are vilolent-dics that bloodrage with the best of them. And I know alot of werewolves that just nare off the hair, and howl their best @ karaoke. Dont pigeon hole us.. Y0 ..

Great series!

I wish this book were longer! I have enjoyed every book in the series. Hope more are coming.

Still the best Urban Fantasy Ever

If you are nuts about this series as I am you will like these short stories. I hope John Conroe never stops writing these. Seriously there is no other series like out there.

Great addition to the series

Another amazing book the only complaint I have is the book is over way too fast I want more.

Adds to the world building

I am not usually a fan of shorter stories but these are great and they really do add to the experience of following this group of characters through their world.

An excellent listen; very well put together plot, and story! I will not give anymore detail; as to I do not want to ruin the book for others!

Didn't know it was short stories...

Didn't know that there were'regular' books in the series or that this was 'just' short stories... but I'm now going to get the novels to read. If you enjoyed the Dresden Files then you'll enjoy this.

Interesting filler

I’ve listened to all of this series to date with the exception of the three compendiums. I now realize what a mistake that was, because they really do round out the series nicely.
