In a land without magic, Alex must find a way to get his wife and friends home. In his absence, the Dark Elves launch a plot to unseat the King of Great Vale without the need of armies or wars.

Charles Lamb knocks another one out of the park with book 3. We find Alex, along with his 3 besties waking up in the same Seattle forest where he was wizarded-away to Windfall in Book 1. What happens then is somewhat predictable with the Windfall companions both frightened and amazed to experience life in a modern technology-based world lacking all but an inkling of magic. While impressed at the many wonders, Alex's 3 companions desperately want to return to their own world.

What follows is an entertaining adventure of new encounters, magical beings and the urgent quest to find a way back to Windfall from a mundane world realm.

Travis Baldree's performance is amazing and make purchasing the audiobook worth the credit.

This book was amazing, I enjoyed it fully. Can't wait for the next in this series. The narrator was great at adding uniqueness to each character.
