Great story!

The reader did an outstanding job voicing this book. I am looking forward to a sequel!

Need patience to listen

I enjoyed about 3/4 of the book. I liked the premise and was interested in how it would turn out. However, I got very tired of hearing about Julia and her husband’s relationship. Plus her continued impulse to jump into dangerous situations, then spend hours second guessing herself got very boring after a while. The ending was ridiculous. The narrator did a good job.

Perfect match of a performer and a story!

I’m amazed this is a debut novel. I just hope the author writes more because this story was so engaging, the characters so fascinating, and the overall story gripping! More please.

excellent twisty storyline and the narrator is superb. one of the best listens I've had in a while!

I liked everything about it, found the protagonist particularly interesting, along with other characters. it's also well written.

Adequate mystery. Too long, though. Narration or audio editing: annoying difference in volume between main female character (too quiet) and males characters.

Loved everything about this audiobook

Great listen with lots of twists, couldn’t put it down. Character development as well as plot were thorough. Top notch narration. Looking forward to other books by author and narrator.

Twisty and human

I liked that the characters in this book were all flawed and felt real. The story was twisty but not unrealistic. I’ll read more from this author.

Humanity at its worst

Kinda like watching a train wreck but with a chance it won’t happen. Not all gloom and doom and always with the belief it’s worth trying to change a bad situation. I needed that right now.

An intense, stunning piece of writing

This book is an unflinching examination of the effects of trauma on both the victims and also the law enforcement professionals who work tirelessly to help them. The plot is full of mysteries some of which are not revealed until the end. I could not put this book down.
