Fun, witty, charming.

Absolutely delightful. Love the author. Love the actors/readers. Was totally into it from beginning to end.

Fabulous! Sad to miss on Bway but loved listening

I was so sad to miss this play on Broadway but getting to listen in the comfort of my home is the next best thing! The performances are fabulous and the story is wonderful. I love Susan Stroman's work and this does not disappoint.
Perfect for any fan of the Ephron sisters!! Don't miss it!

Excellent narration

A treat to have a unique memoir like this. I appreciate that it regarded a second romance… Late in life. So good!

Wish there were more like this

This audio book is like closing your eyes and listening to the TV with all the cool background noises and the several different people involved in reading the story are great.

It’s very, very Real

This is painfully accurate to many health experiences. It’s difficult to deal with an unexpected, major illness or disease. I have Muscular Dystrophy but wasn’t diagnosed until age 38. The Husband and I had been married for almost 20 years at that point.

He’s what any person could ever want in a spouse.

He’s my everything.

I told him that I would let him go if he didn’t want me anymore. I wouldn’t have been upset because the disease causes me intense pain, and I figured without him, I wouldn’t last long anyway.

Foolish me.

He kissed the “moving on” notion right out of me and let me know that he wouldn’t accept my nonsensical ideas. He’s been kind and caring ever since (at least 99% of the time.) We’re now at 20+ years of marriage and still in the honeymoon period.

Supposedly it gets rough around year 50.
Wish us luck. ;)
