Publisher's summary

The Masks

We kidnapped her. A payment for a debt. A very personal one. With our father, “The Collector”, dead, we are the heirs to a twisted dynasty with nothing but revenge in our hearts, blood on our hands, and darkness in our souls. The Dancer we stole is our captive to play with, to possess, to ruin.

And we will destroy her.

The Dancer

I was kidnapped. Ripped from the people I love, and imprisoned in a castle in Scotland with walls as thick and impenetrable as the stone encasing my kidnappers' hearts. Do as they say and you’ll survive; fight and feel the consequences of their wrath. The Masks who stole me are cruel, merciless and wicked.

But they won’t break me.

WARNING: This is an 18+ dark, contemporary, reverse harem captive/kidnap romance and contains mature content, violence, dub-con/non-con and subject matter that listeners may find triggering.

Wow

My mind is all over the place after this one. I’ve never read anything like it. It’s pretty messed up and my mind and heart were all over the place much like Kristy’s, but I loved every minute of it. I will definitely be continuing onto book two to see what happens next after that cliffhanger!

Awesome

Academy of Stardom leads into this series. There's a lot of other series that intertwine with this one. I personally didn't like the first series that ties into this one so start with Stardom! Stardom and The Masks were awesome!

Nothing Redeemable

Please don’t waste good $ on this nonsensical drivel. I kept listening hoping that the story would make sense or that the girls would plan to get away or the men would do something redeemable. But. No. Each chapter just whined one after another. 🤮

This is terrible.

I hate to give an awful review but . . . c'mon. This is classified as erotica. The main female character begins and ends as a virgin. There is very little that could be called erotic material. Grotesque? Yeah, lots of that. Clumsy writing bordering on the comical? Oh yeah. A storyline that strains belief? Oh, we're way beyond that. Do yourself a favor and move on. I'm sure the author is a perfectly nice, well meaning person, but this genre is not in her wheelhouse right now.
