Nooooo it ended way too soon! I want more

I love this author so much. She pulls you into her stories as if you’re a spectator to everything unfolding in the lives of her characters.
This story is another brilliant story with so much depth and heart. Great imagination, creativity, whimsy, and delight. But solid storytelling and strong characters. The story wrapped up nicely but I wanted more to the story. I didn’t want it to end. I feel like I just got to know the characters. But then again if she did write more it might of felt like it dragged on too long. Guess the author knows best. I would love to see a book 2…. Sadly I’ve listened to all her books so now I’m going to have to wait again for a new one to come out.
The voice actor does a fantastic job as well I don’t want to skip her. She also does a fine cat impression LOL.
Definitely highly recommend this wonderful story

Beautiful imagery!

Beautiful imagery portrayed throughout the storyline. Especially as it mirrors the love of Jesus in that he left his home to sacrifice himself to rescue us and how he is ever present to help us in our brokenness.

A masterpiece

The story is wonderful how it slowly builds in intensity. May start a little slow but it builds until you can’t put it down. Mystery, love, intriguing, unexpected heroes, all leading you through the higher love of God. Such analogies.

“…not broken, just not finished yet…”

Pleasantly surprised and drawn into a unique and curious revelation of a brilliant and creative mind. The wrap up so very thought provoking. Deeply moving to me were the Creator themes and the love letters. I thought I had the ending projected only to be outwitted. There is such a young girl and her romance novels element, and yet so much depth and evidence of study that obviously went into building the unique setting and primary overarching character. All the technical details ! I had put the story aside at one point but so glad I picked it back up. Wonderful. Wonderful. And very excited / looking forward to seeing Politano’s next creative adventure. Amy Scanlon is a FANTASTIC narrator. Love love her voice acting !

Another masterpiece!

I adore her books and this one did not disappoint! I especially loved the imagery of the gospel in the final scenes!

Outstanding! When biblical lessons are sewing in so seamlessly it is not preaching, but enlightening.

Absolutely fantastic! I was hooked from start to finish. Characters were so well developed and interesting, so many layers to unfold. I think I will let it marinate for a few days and then read again to really pick up more of the lessons . This is exceptional. God is always working!

A most beautiful love story!

I really love this story, it was so well written and read beautifully. This author is becoming one of my favorites.

Won Me Over

I don’t usually pick up gothic steampunk mysteries but Politano won me over w her poetic prose, multi-layered characters, and deft use of suspense. Loved it. Excellent narrator to boot!

Absolutely wonderful

I recently spoke to a Bible Study group on Isolation and now I’m recommending they all read this. Beautiful story. And a reminder to simply “do it afraid” or as said in the book “take hold”.
