Publisher's Summary

Sandra is opposed by a threat thought long-buried in this exciting conclusion to the Dungeon Crafting series....

After recovering from the effects of a Core shard taking over her mind, Sandra had developed a way to bond with nearby Dungeon Cores, “pacifying” them in the process. Consistent culling of the Monsters within their dungeons would still be required, but no longer would the surrounding areas be dangerous with wandering Monsters sent out by those Cores.

Accomplishing all of that will inevitably lead to a greater responsibility that Sandra wouldn’t be able to handle on her own. Fortunately, the surrounding races are more than willing to step up and contribute, thereby slowly taking their lands back from the hostile Dungeon Cores trying to kill them all. With their help, Sandra’s dreams of being able to ignore the world and get back to her peaceful crafting are getting closer to reality.

Unbeknownst to the crafty Dungeon Core, however, an old foe learns of Sandra’s existence and is bent on destroying her - one way or another. Only through perseverance, the help of her friends, and quite a bit of crafting will she be able to defeat this adversary; doing so will not only ensure the safety of her Core and the surrounding lands, but it will also establish Sandra’s presence in the wasteland as something meant to stand the test of time.

In short, it is time for the craft-loving Core to establish her dynasty.

This Dungeon Core story contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling and a heavy crafting emphasis. No profanity, sexual content, or harems.

Fantastic conclusion

This is the series that got me into Jonathan Brook's writing. He has delivered on each book in the crafter's dungeon series and he pulled out all the stops for this finally. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Brooks does it again

I really enjoyed this series. Creating focused dungeon core. The story was there and Cooksey portrays it perfectly

Terrible end to a mediocre series

Let's start with magnets. Either the author has no clue how they work, or they work completely different in this universe. That wouldn't ve a big deal if magnets weren't half the plot. Some sort of poorly described hover craft are made. Talked about at length, yes. Described well, no. Then some sort of weapon is made with a single permanent magnet. Neither a rail gun nor gauss rifle use a permanent magnet. Even if this universe has it's own rules, a permanent magnet cannot be used to launch a projectile.

Same lack of plot, things happen strictly for the sake of keeping the story going.
Same 2 dimensional characters who could be interchanged and have no effect.

The first book had some interesting ideas and I hoped the bad writing would improve if I gave the rest of the series a chance. It never did.

Pernouces orichalcum wrong

It is pernounced as ori-cal-cum in english. Everytime she said the word, it was like a knife stabbing into brain triggering ocd. It was not as bad as my other friend who pernouces it as oric-u-lum

Narrator voice is high pitched and grating

So I have like the previous stories but I couldn’t make it through more than 2 chapters of this book quality of recording or narrator I’m not sure but high pitch and annoying

Solid adventure

There is something about reading a great book like this one. I did not read it though. Jonathan and Louise brought together the crafters dungeon, Sandra and her companions together, and made a wonderful world. In this book the action is there, plot twist, and of course the stats that go along with this. In this last book I did not get bogged down and tired of listening to it, like some others that just drag on and nothing important is happening. I truly enjoy the series and just like any book Jonathan has wrote I will listen to them again.

Good conclusion to the series

Many series seem to go on without a conclusion or the author doesn't manage to get the ending right, but once again this author manages to do it extremely well, delivering a strong conclusion to the series that still gives him the option to return to these characters in the future too.

The narration helped to enhance this story with a sufficiently distinctive range of tones for the various characters.

Overall, a really good conclusion to an entertaining series.

Will Sandra ever get time to enjoy her crafting

Great listen, catching up with Sandra and her friends and allies.
Not going to give away any spoilers but can’t wait to see what will happen next to take Sandra away from her beloved crafting.
