When playboy businessman Jonas Faraday receives a private note from the anonymous intake agent assigned to process his online application to an exclusive club, he becomes obsessed with finding her and giving her the satisfaction she claims has always eluded her, in order to fulfill his own desperate need for redemption.

Sarah: When I read Jonas Faraday’s brutally honest personal message on his application to The Club, I practically climaxed at my desk. I’m an idiot to risk losing my job, but I couldn't resist contacting him. I knew my confession would be like dangling an irresistible carrot in front of his nose—but never in a million years did I think he’d actually hunt me down.

Jonas: I was shocked to get my intake agent’s email—I’d attached that note to my application on a whim, never expecting a reply from an actual person, let alone a reply as mind-blowing as that. Her message was so alluring, so irresistible, I’ve been spiraling into a full-blown obsession ever since I got it. What’s her name? What does she look like? Finding her is my top priority.

In The Club, what starts out as an innocent exploration of attraction between two strangers quickly spirals into a steamy story of unbridled passion, obsession, heartbreak, and, ultimately, redemption.

This book is on fire it is so hot. The narration is so authentic. So much more than 2 people just reading a book aloud.

Maddness

Sarah is too dramatic and always rambling . She talks a lot of non sense . Jonas was great but Sarah was just to much and extra.

Dramatic

If your looking for soda pop expected normal this could get your engine running, but if you like hard core, deep thrusting erotic, this is not for you.
I read this on vacation laying by the pool, mostly asleep and this did help to put me asleep, I needed the rest. I like Lauren Rowe's voice and she matches up well with John Lane, but this story did not create magic for me.
Was a good vacation read, but I expected better. Oh well, onward to the next story from Lauren Rowe. Even ballplayer's don't hit a home run everytime.

Not thrilled could have been better...next.

It started off hot and didn't let down for a minute. Loved this book. It's a great start to the series.

This is an enjoyable listen. Sweet, but hot and steamy as well. Jonas learns to love, to trust. I really enjoyed the jungle adventure too. Looking forward to book two. This book is worth the credit.

A love story about discovering your heart.

Love Love Love the ending of this book. True love story. I like that The male character is VERY intense. He reminds me of Gideon Cross

Reminds me of the crossfire series

When i can hear every gulp and lick of Lauren Rowe's lips while a sex scene is being read, it kind of kills the mood. Too bad since John Lane is terrific. The story is fine, the concept is crazy but that is what the book is all about - fantasy.

Lauren should just write the books not read them since that is her forte. If I wasn't such an Audible addict I would stop and read the rest of the book but I won't.

And the story line is pretty much straight forward - guy chasing girl with the big O as the prize.

Great guy reader, the woman not so much

First I’m sorry to say Lauren Rowe maybe an author but she’s a horrible narrator. It sounded like they went straight to the valley and got someone to read this and it partly could be from the completely words and phrases from the woman character. She was so annoying it actually made me angry. It took me several attempts to get through it I aurally liked the plot and the male character and the male narrator did a good job but I wouldn’t waste a credit or purchase. I’m already deleting the second from my library. I just can’t go through this again

Good Plot Bad Execution.

I really enjoyed the story, but the deeper we got into the audiobook the more the male narrator sounded overdone, to the point where I just skipped the last few minutes after grimacing through his chapters on the later half of the book. I would think that this audiobook process would be down to a science, especially with making sure that the voices are REALISTIC. No one talks like Superman in real life. I won't be listening to any of the other Jonas stories. Hopefully Josh sounds better.

What's with the overacting?
