Be a strong woman or don’t

Really, a very good story and excellent narration. My challenge was that the main character’s strength seemed to come from her loving sex and looking at her lover’s member. That’s just fine, but I would have liked her being more decisive and less maidenly day to day.

Good story ok performance

I enjoyed the story and male narrator was great but the female character sounded robotic at times and over acting at other times. it was a little difficult to enjoy.

OMG- Female narrator STINKS

Ugh!!! I love a ton of CJ Archer’s books. Her regular narrators are amazing. This female narrator is so unnecessarily dramatic. Every. Word. Is. Drama. Ugh. I’m not sure I’m going to make it through.

I enjoyed the two perspective storytelling

I enjoyed the two perspective storytelling immensely!! I work with my hands long hours and love to listen to books... CJ Archer is one of my favorites.

I'm sorry I can't listen to her...

I should have listened to her before I bought this book. I can't follow her... her inflections are off and the lilt in her voice is off-putting. he us amazing. She sometimes reads like she's teaching a child to read. she's ruined the book for me.

Not sure how I feel about this series yet. I absolutely loved the Glass and Steele series but this one has different narrators with a much different style. It was a little slow at the beginning. I’ll definitely give the next one a chance though. For someone who goes through a lot of audiobooks, it was still worth the listen.

Finally, some spice!

I've been waiting for this series. Finally some sexy scenes. Excellent team reminiscent of India & Matthew. Narrators are great. I'm excited about CJ again.

Very good book with great narration. Enjoyed the story & characters. But the narration, the two narrators were excellent. Their timing made it fold together seamlessly. It was a joy. Thank You.

Love this story

The story line was great and the narrators were wonderful. I can’t wait to listen to the second and third books in this series.

Great start to a new series but.....

I have listened to many series by CJ Archer and this one sounds very promising. But I am struggling with the female narration. She tends to read slowly and her style does not match the male narrator, whom I enjoy very much. He sounds relaxed and like he “is” the characters he reads. I’m going to give it another shot, but I may need to switch to the kindle version.
