When Qwill rents Euphonia's Gage's mansion in Moose County, he and Koko soon discover closet after closet jammed with several generations of junk. Meanwhile, the mansion's former occupant is enjoying a new life in warm, sunny Florida. Or is she? Word soon comes that Euphonia is dead, an apparent suicide.

Why would someone so happy and full of life kill herself? And what is the connection between the Gage family and potato farmer Gil Inchpot, who is found buried in the snow with a bullet in his head? Can Qwill and the cats uncover a family secret before the winter yields another dead body?

I’ve always loved reading this stories. The audiobook is just as good, if not better.

What did you love best about The Cat Who Went into the Closet?

I loved the historical aspect to the story line. Without trying to give any plot lines away I'll say Qwill re-enacting the broadcast was amazing. The cats have some fun in their home and Qwill is settling in as a Pickaxe citizen

Have you listened to any of George Guidall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

When I hear George Guidall I hear Jim Qwilleran. I have listened to him read some of the Gabriel Alon series, but i hear Jim Qwilleran... Ha ha. I like the cadence of his speech

Any additional comments?

Wish all the earlier ones were available on Audible. I listened to them all from my public library years ago on cassettes and CDs.

My Personal Favorite of the Series

I greatly enjoy this series of books. They are exceedingly well performed. Please be aware that these are very clean mysteries that don't have any real gore or explicit characters to them. They are wonderful books.

Another great cat book!!!

Loved it, and I'm not even a cat lover. The story was enthralling and kept me coming back for more.

Wonderfully entertaining.
